We were the first company on the Ocoee to feature self-bailing rafts and continue to go the extra mile for our guests!
SUP is an acronym that stands for Stand Up Paddling and originated in Hawaii with the use of a surfboard and long paddle in the ocean. Today this growing sport has evolved beyond just paddling the surf at the beach, to navigating rivers, flat water ponds and lakes. Riders stand with feet placed shoulder width apart and engage abdominal & leg muscles to keep the board stable.
Parksville Lake (also known as Lake Ocoee) has over 1,900 acres of surface water with 47 miles of shoreline and is a perfect destination for the first time or experienced kayaker. You can rent a variety of kayaks from Lake Ocoee Inn & Marina and immediately enjoy the scenic beauty of Parksville Lake.
We are located inside Cherokee National Forest on scenic Parksville Lake also known as Lake Ocoee. Ocoee is Cherokee for Passion Flower, a native vining wildflower with beautiful purple fringed blooms and edible fruit. In 2003, Lake Ocoee Marina became the first member of the Hiwassee Watershed to receive the TVA Clean Marina designation.
