I know my sister in law won't write a review especially cause she is STILL waiting to close....This lawyer DOESN"T return phone calls OR emails. You have made this the worst experience by far and she will NOT be referring her friends and family that plan to make the move up from the city over the next few months.
Terrible business practices and shouldn't be in this business. DON'T HOLD PEOPLE HOSTAGE to their move/closing!

We recently purchased our first home with Frank as our attorney. We found him to be helpful especially during the final closing process, where he did a very good job detailing the various closing fees, etc. We didn't have a straightforward transaction and there was some debate back and forth regarding getting the seller to cover certain repairs, etc. but Frank provided useful assistance and guidance. And his fee/pricing was straightforward and competitive.

That being said, yes, you may perhaps need to follow-up with him occasionally to get an update, however the house buying process in general

Claims to be responsive but that was not my experience. When I did not hear anything about my closing for 4 weeks (owner had contractors in to remove a stove, black gas pipe and waiting for Certificate of Occupancy), I emailed him but did not get a response until 3 weeks later. When I questioned him on this, he said, "I was waiting to hear back from the seller's attorney."

A prompt quick 15 second courteous email reply would have been appreciated vs. radio silence for weeks.

Just dont. Find someone else. It was my first time buying a house and the whole experience was great except for him. He is rude, nasty, and doesn't return phone calls until you leave 3 messages. Our contract for our house wasnt typical because we were renting it back to the owners for the summer. We also needed a renting contract, well he really screwed us over bc I guess he doesn't know how to do math, and when questioned about it, he tells us we should have read the contract! We lost a thousand or so in the deal and he did nothing for us. He did not have our back and it doesn't
