Annual plants afford you seasonal customization, while perennials are only installed during the warmer months. Much of our plants are grown locally! Come check us out in Cedarburg, Wisconsin.
Johnson's Gardens is associated with Johnson's Nursery, Inc., therefore our customers have access to a large, diverse selection of field grown, container grown, and locally propagated shade and ornamental trees, shrubs, evergreens, and perennials. Many of the landscape plants we carry are grown on our farms in Jackson, WI and Menomonee Falls, WI.
At Johnson's Gardens, we are passionate about all plants but are especially enthusiastic about our Wisconsin natives. These plants share a long history with the people, animals and beneficial insects of the region and we believe that their preservation is critical to a healthy ecosystem. The landscape of southeastern Wisconsin was historically comprised primarily of prairie, wetland, oak savanna, and mixed hardwood forest.

Bought a raspberry bush from here. When we bought it, we had a couple questions and the checkout lady said nobody was there that could answer questions. Huh? So we took a chance and bought it for $49.99. Planted it in our beds next to other healthy bushes and it grows super healthy every year. But has not produced a single raspberry. We are on the 3rd season. So we essentially paid $50 for a huge weed. It looks so healthy. We've pruned it down according to their exact instructions but it still won't produce a berry. We asked last year to get a refund as it was less than a year and hadn't produced

The staff was helpful, smiley, knowledgeable and quick to offer help. The facility was clean, well organized and the variety of items on display seemed endless. A bit pricey!

This past Sunday, my folks and I stopped by Johnson's Gardens to pick out a new tree to plant in our family home's backyard. Unfortunately, our birch tree that previously occupied the corner spot in the back had bent itself out of shape in search of sunlight, and we had to cut it down. So here we were at Johnson's looking for a 10-15 feet tall tree that could thrive in the shade.

Paul helped show us around the nursery and after hearing our criteria, he steered us toward a Princess Diana Serviceberry. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and patient with us. He also took the time
