I thoroughly enjoyed having Dr. Stein as my podiatrist. I suffered a ankle fracture a little over a year ago. Dr. Stein did all he could to make sure that my ankle healed completely...especially given that I waited a few months before going to see a doctor.

I recently had my last visit with him and he recommended that I have 6 more weeks of Physical Therapy. He also made it a point to inform me to come back to see him if I had any other problems with my ankle which I really appreciated.

I would highly recommend Dr. Stein if you are suffering from an injury or some sort of pain

I am still grateful to Dr Stein 6-years after he gave me some of the best advice any podiatrist had given me about my broken 5th metatarsal. I broke my foot at my own wedding, and he gave me confidence in a treatment plan. I have referred patients to him who have also been equally satisfied. Thank you Dr Stein :)

Dr. Stein operated on my right foot for plantar fibroma and it's a complex surgery because of the location is on the bottom of my foot. 8 weeks later and my foot is pain free!
I have the same issue on my left foot and Dr.Stein will be operating on it soon.

I'm so grateful for Dr.Stein and his staff.

I only have great praise for Dr.Stein and the front office staff.

Severe issues with office staff. I paid a copay that is not accounted for. Got a bigger bill that does not include the copay. I paid it the first time without looking at it closely. A month later I got the same bill saying that I still owe the entire balance. I emailed the receipt to the same email address where the receipt is generated. They still couldn't take care of it. I'm told the person who is in charge works Monday and in he meantime there is no one that can help me to resolve this issue. Think about this. Would you want the same experience??

My niece Atted this facility and had an horrible experience with the front desk staff and Dr. Lee Stein ! Even After paying to see the doctor which the rules clearly stated was necessary before even going back their for the check up . She called days ahead of time to inform him she had a surgery done at another hospital and the date, Dr Stein he said he would still see her. Once arriving she filled out the proper forms and paid. After the visit the office charged her double the cost and insisted she did not pay. There was a resident to witness this whole catastrophe. To insist she did not pay Which

Dr. Lee Stein is the best! I have had multiple issues with my feet and his has solved every issue. One problem that had been plaguing me for a least a decade was toe nail fungus on 5 of my toenails. They were painful and would hurt in shoes and even crack and fall off. With two painless laser treatments my nails are infection free! I wouldn't believe if I didn't see it. I wish I had gone and had this issue fixed many many years ago! A+ care!!!

I have no issue with the care I received or the doctor, however, beware of their highly questionable billing practices. They initially refused to apply my copayment (for which I kept my receipt) and continued to charge me for the copayment and remaining balance. Once I got them to apply my copayment and paid the remaining balance, they continued to bill me for the remaining balance even though I had proof it had been paid. Their billing practices violate the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. If I receive any other notices, I will be filing a lawsuit. Get treated here at your own financial risk

I used to work in the front office of a practice, so I try to be sympathetic to how hard it can be. However, working with this group has really tested me. Doctor is a little apathetic and front desk staff is borderline incompetent.

As an example, I need a receipt to submit to my health savings account to get reimbursed and long story short, three phone calls later... still no receipt. For some reason they have to make something in word, "scanners are down," and they rarely answer the phone. Don't go here if you have any expectation that your health providers and support staff be

I had surgery and my foot is worst than it was before . I went to Northwestern to see if they could fix the problem . It is permanent , he said these were all negative side effects that are common with the surgery. Dr. Stein never told me there could be any side effects , had I known I would never have had the surgery . Communication in this practice is a huge problem. I HAD a minor problem that was a discomfort NOW I have a big problem with pain.

Dr. Stein has always been very accommodating of my time constraints and very flexible in regards to making appointments with me. He is really willing to listen to what you have to say and will get you in and out of the office fast which I love. Great doctor who is very personable and doesn't have a God complex like many doctors do because no one enjoys being talked down to. Great location with easy parking, what more could you ask for.

Dr. Stein is a great podiatrist! His Lincoln Park days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.

I sprained my ankle a while back and he squeezed me in the same day even though I called that morning because my foot swelled up overnight. He immediately got me into a boot for the next couple of weeks which stabilized my ankle quickly and prevented it from being a major problem. The practice even has two physical therapists on retainer that have great experience, and got me back to the gym in the least amount of time possible. He also continually reads up on new information in his field and is great with
