If you're looking to improve your water, we can help! At Culligan, we know water and are passionate about helping you get the best quality, greatest tasting, and healthiest water at a fair price. Hard water is hard on appliances, hard on hot water heaters, hard on pipes, hard on your skin and hair. Soft water cleans better, saves time, money and energy! In most cases, before we can recommend the best treatment, testing your water is the first step. After all, how can we treat your water if we don't know what's in it?
Services
They had a vision to provide the folks of Southeast Texas with affordable water filtration for their homes and businesses. In 1968, H. D. "Tex" Strait, Sr., a 12-year Culligan veteran, bought the business from the retiring Stagg brothers.
With his wife Emma and their eight kids all working in the business over the next quarter of a century, they expanded the business to include deionization systems, reverse osmosis systems, bottled water, and commercial and industrial water treatment systems, becoming the foremost name in water treatment in Southeast Texas.

If you're on city or well water in one of our local areas your in-home water analysis is FREE. Every once in a while we run into some very aggressive water that requires a more thorough lab analysis. When that occurs, there will be an additional charge to cover that service. Your water will be sent off to Culligan's water testing facility in Illinois where over 10,000 water samples are tested every year.
We encounter water from municipalities, deep wells, shallow wells and a host of other sources. The water we deal with can contain nitrates, sulfur, hydrogen sulfide, radon, several times the EPA limit of Total Dissolved Solids, excessive hardness, low pH, high pH, chlorine, chloramines, organics, iron, and hundreds of other things.
Tired of buying expensive cases of 1/2 liter drinking water bottles that end up in the landfill? The Culligan Good Water Machine is a remarkable compact system that fits under your kitchen sink. You get the convenience of "bottled water on tap" with a special faucet that mounts beside the kitchen faucet.
The University of New Mexico discovered softened water can reduce hot water heating costs 29.6%. The Battelle Institute revealed that soap, laundry, and dish-detergent usage can be cut by up to 75%!. The term "Hard Water" refers to the amount of dissolved minerals (primarily limestone) in the water.

Sadly this company has employees that don't follow up.we had Culligan water in south Texas and we were very happy with it , but here first they make you wait 5-6 weeks to sample the water at home . After I waited 6 weeks a tech called me to tell me that I didn't need water softener system that he had tested the water at home . I asked him for RO system and he asked for my information to send me a quote . Week later I'm still waiting for the quote , I contacted him and he says to contact the office . I called the office apparently they can't find my information, they asked

I wish I could give 2 separate ratings. Our tech Josh who did the install was phenomenal!! We would give him 5 stars. He was polite, professional and answered every question we had. Outstanding young man. The office staff however would get only one star. We had to call repeatedly and never got a call back to set up our service. When we finally did get a date scheduled no one showed up and at 4:45 pm we called the office and received plethora of excuses. Not impressed with the office staff but very impressed with the field technician.

We had a chlorination system installed today to combat the smell of our well water. Josh Mason showed up on time for the appointment and explained in detail the installation and operation of the system. Very knowledgeable courteous technician. Josh provided a very professional installation that performed right the fist time and looked like it belonged in the well house. Great job Josh!

We just moved to the area and set up water delivery service. After the initial delivery the coronavirus situation worsened and our two college age kids unexpectedly moved home. I was able to add additional bottles to the second delivery. Our third delivery is scheduled for April 20th. We're going to run out well before then. When I called the office on March 31st to request an earlier delivery date I was told no, running on a skeleton crew due to coronavirus. I completely understand that. I called this morning, April 1st to ask if I could come pick some up. I was told the office was closed

No show! Poor customer service. I called to have them come to my home and address water issues in having. I want a whole house system with all the bells and whistles. They never came to test the water, never called, nothing! This place must be doing so well that they don't need anymore customers or money. Companies in Houston are hungry for money and wouldn't treat me like this!!!!

WOW! My grandfather has a Culligan drinking water filtered dispenser. We noticed a leak under the sink and the bottom of the unity was wet. When I called, they said the bottom of the filter should not be wet, but since he owns it they have a $120 'service charge' that only covers the first half-hour.
They charge more than a PLUMBER!
I am THROUGH with Culligan!!!!
