Campground was very clean and quiet. The shower was wonderful and hot! An excellent shower nozzle and water pressure. The folks who operate the campground are fantastic, very helpful.

We just left from this campground and it was a nice quiet stay:)). The man that runs it is very nice and friendly/helpful. We got settled in and our food we ordered from the on site restaurant was delivered to our door!! My husband got the ribs and brisket meal and it was excellent!! The bathrooms were clean. Definitely will stop again on the way back to Iowa. Posting a picture of the menu. We arrived on a Sunday so the quotations on there is their Sunday only meals. Going to make sure we get there on a different day to try more of their yummy food!!

We had a great overnight here. Site was level and long enough for 34' class A with toad. EWS all worked fine. Loved having the little fenced yard (about 500 sf?) for the dogs and everyone was great about taking turns. And barbecue and sides delivered to the site were excellent. A lot of people rolled in later in the day and some left really early; I get the feeling this CG is one of their "traditional" stops, and expect it to become one of ours.

Not sure about this one.
Checked in after closing. Was a long day of driving.
The sites are level and plenty big enough. Ample room between you and your neighbor.
There was some weirdness on checkin. While I was deciphering their map and the key to what site had 50 amp, water and sewer, someone approached my vehicle in a golf cart. With my truck idling, it was hard to hear what the person was saying and then the conversation went weird from there. If you arrive after dark and are approached by this guy on a golf cart, walk slowly. Speak clearly and confirm exactly what you are asking for.

Enjoyed my week-long stay due to necessary repairs on my travel trailer. Didn't have a reservation, but they made me feel welcomed. Chris was tremendously helpful, even delivering parts I'd ordered online to my campsite. Some mentioned this place is older, which it is. But it also looks like a campground should, especially if you're not into lots of concrete and foo-foo stuff. Definitely will stay here again should I go thru Santa Rosa.

TL;DR: Proper reservations are very important here and there are breed restrictions on dogs. Very rude staff.
I called fairly late in the day (4:30 PM) fully expecting for them not to have a spot, but was pleased when Chris let me know they had something that would work for my rig, although it was just 30 amp. I was a little ways out but was told to keep heading that way. He did not take any information but seemed very busy so I agreed. I got there about 6 and Chris was at the front desk having a rather rude conversation with someone on the phone. Once he told them "there is nothing I can do for

Stayed here 2 nights. I arrived without a reservation (originally I was supposed to be at the state park but it had to be closed). Anyway, I got top notch customer service from Chris and his grandson. AND even though the restaurant is closed from covid, I got delicious steak dinner delivered to my site. WOW WOW!
I was in site 38 with power and water. (There are sites with full full hook ups ) They ask enough questions to put you in a site to make it easy to pull through and hook up! The site was level.
Yes the grounds are old and can definitely use updating BUT they are clean and in working order

We're a 34ft Class A with toad. We've been here in 2019 for a night and today, 8/17/21 for 2 nights.
This is a family operation; We were greeted in the office by the owner's oldest son. He's professional, helpful and welcoming. The owner, Chris, was very helpful for us in 2019 when we had a breakdown. We did not see him this visit.
This place is very clean, well maintained, the pool is 'up' and looking very inviting! We've done the dinner menu both stays, but this time they just deliver to your rig. Hot, delicious, and reasonable in price, the fries are crispy, the shrimp done just right, and
