I was not expecting such great ice cream! We stopped by on a whim and I was expecting the usual from an ice cream shop, but wow... so good. I think I had Bigfoot tracks, what a great name, and the flavor was like nothing I've ever had before! I will be visiting again soon, even if it will be winter shortly!

My favorite ice cream in this area. Love that they use honey instead of cane sugar. Ice cream that tastes great and healthier! Lots of different varieties and dairy free options. Very nice family owns it.

We were driving back from Asheville to Charlotte and wanted to stop somewhere local for ice cream. I found Artesana on Yelp off I-40, so we decided to make a pit stop. It's located in downtown Marion, which was pretty desolate on the Friday evening we stopped. Artesana was open, though. I ordered the two scoop cup with two different flavors - Banana Chocolate Chip and Dark Chocolate Habanero. Both were delicious, and both were BIG scoops. The banana flavor was very prevalent, and the dark chocolate was dark and creamy. The habanero gave the ice cream a little kick, but not too excessively

The ice cream is so so delicious and the staff/owners is so sweet.
Me and my friend went there and we got cones and they were delicious. They even stayed open a little longer so I could order a milkshake for my brother who was at home. 5 stars!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very friendly staff and was willing to give us plenty of samples to make sure we got the flavor we wanted. The ice cream was very tasty! I am from Wisconsin and it was one of my top three favorite ice creams I have ever had. Can’t wait to go back.

The ice cream is very good and sweet, it is made with honey which gives it its unique flavor , for one of the newer ice cream shops in the area I highly recommend you try their ice cream if you're in the area

The people were extremely friendly, so I had high hopes.. but between my husband and myself we got four flavors and they were all not great. I will definitely try again to see if it was just an off day.

Not only is it great ice cream but my daughter has a nut allergy and they use separate scoopers for the different allergens so it's safe for her eat. On the last visit we arrived 10 minutes after closing with a two year old ready for ice cream and they opened their doors and served us anyways. We will definitely return!

The ice cream is the best I’ve had in my entire life. The store is very cute and clean. The owner is very nice and helpful, gave us samples and what he likes, and let us know when different flavors would be available. A perfect way to spend a Saturday. We paid $5 for two scoops.

You only need to look at our chest freezer to see our love of Augustine's family legacy ice creams.....or rather religious experience because that's what these ice creams are.
Do not miss the Big foot tracks....dulce de leche.....or Dark Chocolate Habenero!!!! Ya....AMEN
My Partner and I just moved here from Miami and now William makes a trip to Augustine at least once a week....

Fantastic place. Little bit off 40. All the ice cream is sweetened with honey and man it's good. Good service and selection. It's a cool little historic town there - not so much touristy but just an old town but still in good shape. Nice to walk outside up and down the street. Will return

Stopped at this place on a Sunday around 5:00pm while out for a motorcycle ride and so glad we did! They were out of 3 of the flavors we initially picked from the busy weekend, but that just forced us to try something new. I had the cream and berries and my husband had the Mexican caramel, both were delicious! If you're anywhere near this place you should stop!

This is such a wonderful ice cream shop with a variety of flavors. The honey gives the ice cream a distinct flavor and texture that cannot be found at any chain shops or grocery stores. I love the unique flavors such as chocolate habanero, avocado, and arroz con leche.

Superb ice cream. Great ice cream is about both flavor and texture. Artesana nails both. They amp the flavors up just enough that they are pronounced and distinct. This is critical since the cold dampens the taste buds. The real achievement here, however, is the texture. Fine ice crystal enhance the creaminess without washing out the flavors. Cheap ice cream does this with stabilizers and other additives. That's not the case here. Artesana makes excellent ice cream that is certainly the best in Marion and among the best I've ever had, since I consider myself an ice cream aficionado, this

This place is amazing. Made from scratch and so fresh. The dark chocolate habanero was awesome per my husband. I loved the pineapple. This is a must stop if you're in the area. Service was great and owner so friendly. We will be back!!

Pistachio was good (chunks of pistachio in it).
Vegan chocolate was good, a bit icey.
Vegan mango was okay, needs to have stronger mango flavor. Overall pretty good, really appreciate the healthier options.

This place has amazing ice cream! Unique flavors and rich textures. The waffle cones are delicious too and the prices are so reasonable. The owner is friendly and gives samples but you will want all the flavors. Love that it has local ingredients as well. Love it!!!

Adorable, cozy shop with an impressive selection of ice creams.

Not only are they all made in-house, but they have vegan options, and options sweetened with honey. They also have some decadent local favorites like Bigfoot Tracks.

This is the best ice cream I have ever had. My grandson and I went for the first time. One of the best thing about this shop is you can try before you buy. And there no limit on how many samples you get. Their ice cream is all natural and made fresh daily. 5 star to the lady that waited on us. She was super nice. Also they are open till 9:00 pm. Will definitely go back.
