Our recipe calls for chorizo (a f lavorful & spicy Mexican sausage),t equila, beans & jack cheese. Our jalapeno juice adds just the right touch of 'poquito caliente'. The food and the service is always great here. But I asked for some mole sauce and it was super salty. Hence why four stars instead of five. But I have given him five stars in the past. I would recommend this place

This is the local business that you want to support during COVID - they provide great food at reasonable prices. We get takeout from here 3-4 times a month and the food is prepared quickly, packaged well and served up with a smile (yes you can see the smile through the mask).

If you want basic Mexican food... this is your place... it's not authentic at all... your not going to get Mexican food from Mexico... your going to get bland rice and beans and meat from Safeway... it does the trick but I wouldn't call this place Mexican by any means... I'd call it a step up from Taco Bell... I give 2 stars because they at least know they aren't real or food so the prices aren't too high..

The enchilada Verde I got was a little spicier than I was planning for but other than that, I was served, seated and attended to.

The ambiance was nice but the price point felt a little high compared to what I'm used to. The serving size was great!

I pity the person who said this was the best Mexican food in Petaluma...because frankly, they may want to broaden their horizons. The food here is way overpriced, bland and flavorless. I've stopped here for to-go lunch twice now and won't a third time.

Not saying nothing bad but not saying nothing good. Go to Chunky's for great food at a great price. Same cooks for 3 years. And yummy authentic Mexican food. Owner is from Jalisco Mexico need I say more.

The food is really good here comes the but part. They haven't updated the prices on their website. I ordered 2 super burritos and a meat quesadilla and it was $37 dollars. That seems like so much for 3 items.
I called and asked about the prices and was told they are not updated. Sadly I will have to find an place that doesn't break the bank.

This place has hands down the best chile verde I have ever tasted! I haven't have a lot of the other standard entrees, but this must be someone's special family recipe. It is spicy and packs a punch of flavor that is very complex and savory. Anytime I have visitors that want a unique mexican food experience, we all order the chile verde. The leftovers are fantastic with scrambled eggs the next day! It is somewhat of a local hole in the wall, but you won't be disappointed with this dish. It will become a new go-to!

I ordered the shrimp fajitas through Doordash and they arrived warm and were very tasty. I asked for corn tortillas and they got it right.
I especially enjoy their salsa which came in addition the the rice, beans, guacamole, pico de Gallo and onions and peppers. Delish!

I absolutely love the way they make their taco salads and they have my favorite chips. Always consistent, no surprises. This is why I order out from here at least once a week, sometimes twice.

Don't count on them for special orders or instructions.

This was my first time trying this spot and unfortunately I can only give 3 stars because after asking multiple times they do not add an ingredient I am allergic to, they still put it in the burrito. (Frustrating!)

I ordered on DoorDash and in the instructions I put twice in caps NO guacamole, I am allergic. I then called the restaurant and double checked they got my note because it's rare to not want guacamole. He said he got my note mad all was good.

Fast forward 30 min later our burritos arrived, we started to enjoy dinner

Good place for a nice Mexican meal.
Liked the tender crispy crunch of the tortilla chips.
Had the Jalisco enchilada platter, combo platter w/ Chile rellanos, tamale and enchilada, with dessert of apple burrito.
A were good.
Service was efficient, more perfunctory than friendly, but okay.

Service was great. Food was great. Everything was delicious. We were a party of five and we were
very lucky to be seated right away in a booth. All five of us were happy. We were four adults and one child and they had a kids menu. Everything tasted so fresh.
Can't wait to go back again!

I came to this red restaurant invited by a regular and faithful customer, I had never been here before but she raves about so I decided to give it a try.
The location is kind of hidden. Modest nothing fancy, very casual.
We walked in and we seated ourselves and the waitress was prompt to bring the chips and salsa. The chips were really good (I'm big on Chips) the salsa had really good flavor, better then the last place I visited.

I ordered the my usual, Shredded Chicken Burrito with everything, I like the way they served the Burrito with red salsa and shredded lettuce and sour cream on top

The food was excellent. The selection was great. My great grand niece, a transplanted Hawaiian, took us there when we visited them in January. Unfortunately we live in Hawaii so we don't know when we'll be able to enjoy your fabulous food again. We had excellent service.
