Who are we? Sisters. We grew up in Virginia Beach and continue to make our homes here. Mary has a background in Art and Design, Photography, and Biology. Shannon has an English, Art, and Business background, as well as retail and office management experience. Together, we are creative perfectionists with obsessive attention to detail and a love of color.
When it comes to setting up an event, we throw ourselves into it wholeheartedly. We obsess over details! For events, we provide professional, timely delivery and set up; we like to arrive early to make sure everything is perfect and work closely with your other vendors for a seamless day. I hired PoP for my wedding and was absolutely over-the-moon thrilled with them. I'm not very creative, and struggled a lot trying to articulate my vision for our wedding. I knew what I wanted in my head but had no idea how that would translate into real life. After only one meeting with Shannon, she already had turned my vision into a concrete reality. Palette of Petals, Shannon, and her entire team are A+ the absolute best. They were able to take and transform our initial vision for our large church and then large industrial reception venue. But they transformed it to fit our backyard home setting when we pivoted due to covid. That’s how you can tell a vendor is truly fab - when they pivot during Covid without missing a beat. Had an amazing experience with Palette Of Petals for my Daughter’s wedding 10-17-20,the compliments on the florals are still flowing in days later.We had to make so many changes due to Covid and they were super flexible and very supportive.Definitely had a very specific vision ( coastal /Cape Cod) in mind.Mary and Shannon not only brought it to life but they bumped up the wow factor x1000 ! Disclaimer, they are both family friends but they really went above and beyond my expectations like they seem to do with all their clientele, and that’s why they are the best florists in Virginia Beach

Working with Shannon at Palette of Petals was great! We only met once and she immediately knew the exact look we were going for with our wedding flowers. We had Palette of Petals do our flowers for both our rehearsal dinner and wedding. Both were phenomenal. My breath was taken away when I entered our wedding reception.

I worked with Shannon for my wedding and she was great! After your first initial meeting all of your contact is through email, unless you need to call the shop for whatever reason, the receptionist was always super helpful when i needed it. I really wasn't quite sure what i wanted when i first sat down with Shannon but we went through some details and photos and talked about my vision and whatnot, and that was that. She made a pinterest board to go into more of a details of flowers so i would know what they looked like based off of their names which was a lifesaver! I could comment on things i
