My driveway was resealed beginning of September. I noticed right away it wasn’t the best job with cracks visible everywhere, but I honestly didn’t care enough to call/dispute. I figure I’ll just find a new provider next time around. Now during the holidays I have family and friends over and, without exaggeration, have been told by 3 people that “hey you should look into getting your driveway resealed”. After explaining I just did they would laugh and say yea definitely don’t go with them again

Unfortunately, they did a sloppy job this time around. I called to ask if they were coming to pick up their sign. Staff said just put it in recycling. I mentioned that when the truck arrived the staff remained in their truck on their cell phones for 25 mins before they exited. I thought they were waiting for another truck to arrive before starting. The office staff on the phone got a little defensive justifying that they were doing work related tasks & they do about 25 driveways a day. I believe her because they were done in 10 minutes & I let her know it is all recorded on camera. This crew was

Update based on business owner’s response.
The response falsified an important fact – the date of the quote being approved by me. Please see the attached screen shot of an email sent by Black Bear LLC. In the email, it clearly confirmed the quote was approved on Sep 13 and the lead time will be 7-10 days. With that, the service should be provided between Sep 20-23. Several phone calls were made from late Sep to early Oct and responses were always “in a few more weeks”. The last phone call was made on Oct 25, and I was informed that they will likely do the work next Spring.

Black Bear seal coated my driveway last October and did a very bad job. Also, they spoiled my paver sides of the driveway. When I called them to complain, Doug, the owner told me to wait for 2-3 weeks if work gets better. Obviously, it was not going to get better by magic. I sent him about a dozen pictures after 3 weeks asking him to correct the issues. After a few calls, he told me that their work has stopped for winter and he will take care of the issues in Spring 2021 after re-opening the shop. This year I have called them a few times but they have done nothing. Now they have even stopped responding

This is the 2nd time I used Black Bear to seal my driveway. 1st time was 2 years ago and the seal did not show any sign of deterioration over time. They were courteous especially when I needed to rescheduled a day before the service. Highly recommended especially for the price of the service.

It only gets one star b/c I have to put at least one star. This Company continues to auto-schedule me even though I have sent multiple emails that I will be in contact when I am ready for the work. The owner then has the audacity to call me up & ask for some courtesy about continuous cancellations. He was rude & frankly, an a-hole, & had none of his facts straight as he tried to bully me into giving him the work. I would highly recommend using anyone else but this company & it's pathetic owner.

This company is a complete ripoff. Feel as though I threw money down the drain. If anything, my driveway looks worse than it did before it was coated. To make matters worse, I called the company and politely told them I was unhappy. The person I spoke with was nasty and rude. I explained what was wrong and he tried to make excuses- told me I wasn’t hearing what he was saying! He finally told me he would send someone out to look at the work. Called me a week later and left a message saying that there were a few places that would be taken care of. I’m now at approximately 2 weeks since this call
