Songbird Artistry was started by Debbie Jacknin and her daughters, Jennifer and Jacklyn. Each of them specializes in their own craft and have long been selling their jewelry, mosaics, screen printed apparel and vintage finds at craft shows going back to when Jennifer was only 13. Their first physical location was a booth at the Pittsburgh Public Market in the Strip, where the three of them sold their own goods.
It was there that they began to develop relationships with the other local artists and craftsmen who rented stands there as well. With such a supportive community, it was an ideal location and business, on the rise.

Services
Kai uses watercolors and gouache to paint human portraits, pet portraits, and Ice Cream Birds. On their Instagram, they post comics and digital illustrations using a rabbit character. They like music, dancing, sweets, and fat birds. They do their best to use reused materials when painting or packaging, that's why you may see a sketch behind a painting or stickers that don't come in any plastic.
Songbird Artistry wants to foster community and bring people together virtually for uplifting conversation and fun craft projects. Glow in the Dark Sticker Social - you will make a sticker, patch or piece of wall art, beginners welcome. Learn to Cross Stitch Social Kit - you will learn the basic skill of cross stitching while connecting with other awesome folks in your community.
Chantal's Specialty Cheese Shop will also be participating from 11 am - 6 pm mention ALS and they will donatr 12% of the purchase. 20% of all Songbird Artistry purchases (in-store or online) will be donated to the Western PA Chapter of the ALS Association. The cutest earrings. I got the Alice in Wonderland ones and yes, they are asymmetrical. Look how cute jumping Alice is!! The hair, the legs, it’s perfect! The white rabbit is also looking at his clock. That’s great attention to detail. I don’t have any more photos but there’s rows and rows of cute novelty ears. Rainclouds, boba, dogs, fandom works, etc. Definitely worth a look if you’re in the area. The owner and her dog are really nice.

A great place to find locally made arts and crafts along with jewelry, food, keychains, coasters, and many other Pittsburgh themed merchandise.
They offer craft classes both in house and on Zoom. Some of their new designs features Harry Potter, dried flowers earrings, and even Disney jewelry.
Prices are very reasonable and they stand behind their work.
They also partner with local vendors to bring you the best of Pittsburgh. They are will work with you to accommodate your needs if looking for something specific.
Although they are based in Lawrenceville you can find them now and then at various

My daughter picked this place out and we loved it. She bought all kinds of Harry Potter stuff. I found a cute purse and bracelet. The owner was there and she was so lovely. I seriously recommend you visit this wonderful locally owned shop. Forgot to mention a percentage of our sales went to helping with the animal rescue place. Great idea!!

I love their jewelry - I have several pieces purchased at the store and at their tables at various outdoor markets around the city. This is a great place to get geeky pieces for that person in your life who loves Doctor Who, Harry Potter, or any kind of sci-fi/fantasy themed media. My favorite piece is a solar system necklace with all of the planets as pendants, with Pluto in the back of course. :) They were also very helpful when I broke a piece of jewelry - they were able to reset the pin in the back and restore its functionality.

This is a wonderful mother-daughter business with a variety of handmade goods, re-sold quirky things, and cool stuff from other vendors. I have a warm experience every time I go to this shop, whether I'm getting jewelry for myself or a gift for friends/family. When I lost one of my Spock earrings (purchased at the Three Rivers Arts Festival), they created another one for me! Their dog, Ari, is very sweet, and the mom (owner?), Debbie, is a talented artist. I appreciate everything about this shop, from their pop-culture feel to their community engagement. I hope to go to one of their classes soon
