Our Overnight Programs utilized by 100 high school aged campers (13-19) will consist of on sight cabin stays with daily meals, showers, and laundry. This Camp Program is to enlighten campers on what is to come after High school. These Young Men and Women will be given tools for everyday situations they will have after High school.

Campers will participate in a ROTC/Sports based program. Campers will use the Athletic fields, obstacle courses, and buildings for team building exercises. Campers are required to participate in community service activities and fundraising activities to help sustain the camp. Tutors will be available to help campers with struggling grades.

Across the nation we as Americans struggle academically. Here locally in Mount Vernon High School District, we have an average of 20% high school students that drop out of school. Out of the remaining students we only have an average of 72% students that pursue a higher education. Camp of Excellence seeks to change these number for the betterment of this area every year.
At Camp of Excellence, we're all about having fun and embracing challenges. Our Jr. Rams coaches train our players to reach their highest potential, and to always have a great time, whether it's at training or during competition. We've been around since 2017 and are still going strong. In 2021 we welcomed our Jr.
A gift to Camp of Excellence is a gift to the future, because Camp of Excellence campers go on to accomplish great things. Gifts to the Annual Fund support the Teacher who taught you how to think, the coach who showed you how to lead, the mentor who set you on your professional path, and the camp counselor who showed you how to have fun and let loose in the process.

Nice to see someone coming in locally to help the kids of our community! It's sad that no one else is willing to support our future. Thanks all
