Scheduled routine maintenance on brand new tractor. We never recieved a confirmation the day before of service, as was instructed by Kim L. When technicians finally came out to work on tractor. I contacted Kim because

#1 the techs left my tractor with keys in the ignition on my front lawn and didn't say a word. Just left.

#2 When I looked down at the deck I noticed it looked like it hadn't been cleaned with a air hose.


Kim asked me to send her photos of what I was seeing.
After Kim received the photos she told me that the service was not completed properly. And that she would

Friendly knowledgeable staff and good location. Communication was TERRIBLE. I had to follow up atleast 4 times over weeks on my warranty product after promises of call backs. Process took over a month and I still had to contact Troy built to update them and finalize everything.

I would like to have given them 5 stars, but there are some things that I think should be improved.
Improve customer service by not typing subjective review IN CAPS.
When picking up a customer's tractor for service, provide the customer with a receipt.
And when returning the customer's tractor, provide the customer with a timetable so that they're available to secure it in lieu of it left outside unattended.

I needed a tire for my lawnmower. They told me I had to purchase the tire there, then take it to the tire shop down the road to have it mounted. That's ok, I'll go somewhere else.

(5/19/20 Review) Submitted a quote request through the John Deere website with this dealer for a 2025R TLB. They are one of the few local dealers that did actually reply to my initial quote request so they get the one star for that but now I have been waiting two weeks for the quote to be updated with attachments (plow, mid mower, box blade). I have the financing through Deere approved already and now I am sitting around waiting. I have contacted the representative I was dealing with (David) several times about getting the updated quote and have heard a few excuses and a few promises to have it

Newark, DE location. Purchased through Lowe's, assembled by AT. With only 4.2 hours of usage the drive belt breaks. I understand that this can be normal with the E130? I would've done it myself but, I wasn't gonna pay for the part. Thank goodness I paid for the extended warranty, something I rarely do. Saved $150 in pick up and return fees. It took two weeks to get it back! We visited the dealership first but didn't get much attention and everything had to be ordered. Can't help that Lowe's saved me $200 with my discount. Review for Atlantic Tractor: I so rarely write bad reviews but felt it would be a public service announcement and warning in this case. Our John Deere started sputtering and we needed it fixed. We live in Queenstown. Instead of sending someone from their closest location, Atlantic Tractor sent someone from the Chestertown location to pick up and diagnose the problem. They then said the price to fix the problem was $7,000 to $9,000!!! Yep - you read that right! When we said "no thanks", we were charged $459 for the privilege of dealing with them. I have bought three commercial mowers over the last five years. Anytime I have a repair it is done quickly. And they have always giving me a loaner mower to use when I ask for one.

We are giving 2 stars to this dealer because the secretary was very pleasant and kind. If it weren't for her being so polite, we may have considered giving a one star. The day my husband ordered his tractor he was very excited and wanted it asap. We were told the next delivery day was the following Thursday, which we were not thrilled with, but we accepted it. Meanwhile we took Dave Poutre's word that the tractor was being delivered on that following Thursday. My husband subsequently took off an entire days work to be home for the delivery. He even called Wednesday evening around 4

A sales approach filled with add on costs like $60 delivery fee for new equipment, $38 dealer fee for what, only MSRP pricing (no negotiation) and arbitrary inclusion of Hassle Free Ownership at $855 in quoted price. If this is the type of sales approach you prefer then this is your store. If not, stay away.

Bought my L300 lawn tractor from them a couple of years ago. I have always found their service to be excellent. Luckily the tractor fits in the bed of our pickup. I drop it off for maintenance once a year usually in February or March when they are not too busy. Donna always makes sure they hand-tighten the bolts that hold the blades. Over the mowing season, I usually just take blades in to be sharpened, so if they use a pneumatic tool and are not careful, I can’t get the blades off for sharpening. Have not had a single problem.

This place sucks. Once they have your money - good luck. Our brand new JD tractor broke after 15 minutes of use - the belt came off. They refused to come to us to fix it. They refused to pay for a local shop to fix it. They refused to reimburse us to have a local shop fix it. (I don't know about you but I don't have a truck that can transport a full size mower). He local shop told us that the Atlantic Tractor technician had installed the belt wrong and that's why it fell off. We called AT to let them know. It changed nothing - they actually took it in the other direction and we're rude and hung

Simply awful.

If you're thinking of only buying at MSRP and no real salesmanship, then this place is for you.

I stopped in one day and was serious about buying, I had $15K approved JD Credit and was looking to walk out with a riding mower deal. Not only was their stock terrible, I was told it would take a "couple of days" to get one I wanted if I ordered today from one of their other locations. Spent over $250 with them to fix a JD edger. Edger was running rough due to stale gas. After repair still ran rough under load. Returned it and was told it was due to rusty gas tank. Could not be fixed due to unavailability of part. Went to another JD repair shop and they were able to fix it by rebuilding carb and cleaning gas tank - runs great now. The good shop told me based on what they saw, Atlantic tractor didn't even remove the carb to look at it. Good shop (Foulklawn and Garden) charged less to get it working than Atlantic charged to tell me it couldn't be fixed. This was my second

Beware the Repair....
I took my JD Zero Radius mower in for a repair estimate. It was smoking and losing power. When I called back to find out the status, they indicated it could be anything from a head gasket to a complete rebuild, costing up to $950. They could not get more specific, (even sharing their experience with failures with the model history) This the the price of a new engine and easily over half of the remaining value of the mower. I was about to buy a new one, they said they would accept the old one at no cost to me, when a friend convinced me to try and fix it ourselves. It
