Dr. Kahan is a Board Certified and experienced orthodontist who was born and raised in sunny Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Kahan received her dental training at the Ivy League University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and completed her three year specialty certificate in orthodontics at Albert Einstein/Montefiore Medical Center in New York.

Six years ago our family met Dr. Elysa Kahan and her amazing staff. The first time my oldest daughter met with Dr. Kahan, we were so excited to see her name on the new patients welcome board! The office has great internet and coffee, cocoa and all the amenities parents need to pass their time in the waiting room (pre-Covid-19). Starting with Office Manager and Treatment Coordinator Ruth and the accomplished staff of Alyssa, Alison and Mariya, we always felt taken care of and appreciated the individualized service.

Dr. Kahan and the team at Kahan Orthodontics are all superb!
I finished my orthodontic treatment this month My main goal for treatment was to shift my bite so my top and bottom would be aligned more evenly- she explained to me at the initial consult that this is something that's a little more difficult to do in adults without jaw surgery and I appreciated her honesty. Because my issue wasn't severe I decided to see how much orthodontic treatment could help- I am so pleased with the results and it has helped relieve a lot of TMJ issues I was having with the misalignment.

We are so pleased with our experience at Kahan Orthodontics! My daughter has special needs and a lot of sensory issues and never in a million years did we think she would be able to wear Invaslign! Looking for a caring, smart and sweet orthodontist? Look no further than Dr. Elysa Kahan. I just completed less than 9 months of Invisalign and it was a fantastic experience. Dr. Kahan was gentle, honest and really cared that my smile and teeth were nothing but perfect. As an adult, it was a smooth process throughout.
