Rough Stock Western Wear

My kid needed a hat for working with horses. This is not my thing. The staff bent over backwards to help and not just get the most expensive hat. Then they fit and shaped the hat until it was just right. I would look no further than to get anything from clothes, boots to hats here.

Great prices, great employee s and José to do the hat shaping. Best hat store in North Carolina. We drive 8 hours round trip just to trade with the folks at Rough Stock Western.

Bought my first custom fitted hat yesterday. I will never buy a hat from anywhere else. Love this store.

We drove 3 hours to visit Rough Stock for a felt hat this evening. ..The customer service was excellent! Very friendly and helpful staff. Husband is driving home happy with his felt hat and our daughter is coming home on cloud 9 with getting her a new cowboy hat the day before her rodeo tomorrow!! We will definitely be back!

The staff was incredibly nice and didn't make us first time hat buyers feel dumb for our uneducated questions! The store was clean and they made us feel welcomed!

Hands down the best Western store I've stepped foot in. I stopped in Rough Stock to pick up a few t-shirts and ended up coming back to get a straw shaped after grabbing lunch. The selection of t-shirts, pearl snaps, jeans, boots, and hats is huge and they answer any questions y'all got. Although their selection is great, the following guys really made my experience memorable:
Tim (Purdy) - Helped show me around the shirts and pick out some Dale Brisby stuff I'd been hunting for. I had some questions about boot care and he answered everything I had for him. After I came back from lunch he helped

José is a true artist with shaping hats, both felt and straw. I had purchased a nice felt American hat with a open crown at another store and when it came in they couldn't shape it so I called Rough Stock and José helped me with it. While at Rough Stock we purchased 3 more American hats. We drove 4 hours to get here and it was worth it.These folks are first rate. Thank You. We will be coming back again.

I had the best time today shopping at this store! They helped me figure out my hat size and helped create my own custom cowboy hat! I love it!!! The guy that was doing the hat shaping was amazing and shaped my hat perfectly like a fine piece of art. Got to select a nice band for it too. Cant wait to return to this shop! I would give them 10 stars if I could!

Everyone was very nice. Unfortunately they weren't folliwing the mask mandate but they had fun country music and lots to choose from. Nice cowboy boots and hats. They had a selection of wrangler jeans and button ups too

These guys care about what they do and it shows. Took some of my old felts in to get cleaned and re-shaped and bought a couple new straws. Awesome place. They have all my at business from now on!
