I have had a lot of dental work done, so I've gotten a good sense for when something isn't right. I went here once and I never returned.

Dr. Wilgus and his team at are exceptional. I just finished up with my second implant with them and its been amazing! Both implants were complex front tooth situations and I was super fearful. However as soon as I arrived at the office and met him and his staff, I was at ease. Now I no longer fear implants and would head back there with no hesitation as needed. I recommend Camarillo Periodontics unreservedly!

Wow this place is great, i've been under care of Dr Jeremy Wilgus here. Dr Wilgus is very straight forward and efficient. After hesitating for a month or two due to the pandemic and the unpleasant thought of having two wisdom teeth removed I finally had them removed. It's been about 36 hours since the procedure and I feel great. I had heard many wisdom teeth horror stories from people throughout life and can say I have no clue what they are talking about. Let me first start by saying I would highly recommend Dr. Wilgus & his team. I had an implant & tissue grafting done both lower right, the entire procedure took about 30-45 mins. Dr. Wilgus did an amazing job from beginning to finish. He explained everything that he was going to do very thoroughly before the procedure started. It was absolutely PAINLESS!! After the treatment was done Dr. Wilgus went over post-op instructions & I was done! Again, If you need any type of specialty dental treatment this is your guy!!

I had an excellent experience at Camarillo Periodontics, from the front office, dental assistants, and Dr. Hunter. The procedure was explained completely and all my questions answered. I'm amazed at the dental work done, and with my having minimal pain. They worked with my insurance and together we developed a plan for both my budget and health/well-being.

I was referred to Camarillo Periodontics by my dentist next door (literally next door) because I needed to have a tooth implant replaced and Camarillo Periodontics can do IV sedation in-house. Also because my dentist trusts his work, which of course is more important to me, but the convenience of the sedation was fantastic. I won't do any major work without it and Dr. Wilgus was very understanding of my anxiety issues and was a real pleasure to work with. I've been in twice so far - once for the basic consultation and once to extract the implant that was failing and do a bone graft

Dr. Ronald Hunter: Excellent care. Completely satisfied.
Everything was explained to me before and as it happened. I knew what to expect and what was happening. No pain thanks to the effective numbing. AND: Dr. Hunter called me to make sure I was okay tonight! I think only my vet's office calls to check on my dogs!
Office staff super friendly and went above and beyond to help me with the insurance, since their office is outside of my network. They called my insurance to verify benefits and then explained it all to me.
Such a beautiful courtyard in the building, had to take a picture!

The medical care I received was excellent. The billing staff however were a different story. They failed to communicate that I was "out of network" and therefore I incurred a high out of network cost. They placed phonecalls to my insurance companies (double covered) and said the charges would be "completely covered" as far as they could tell. I had the oral surgery and then all the sudden I was "out network". I would recommend them for medical care but be very careful with their billing.

This was one of the best experiences I have had at a periodontal office. I was not blessed with the best teeth and even though I take good care of them, over the years I have had lots of work. When my dentist referred me here I was a little reluctant because it was a little ways away from where I work and live. I'm so glad I made the treck to this office. From Debbie at the front office to Brenda the assistant, plus others which I didn't get there names, they were all very welcoming and friendly. Got to the office with my insurance, they said the services are covered, but forgot to mention that they are not in network for the insurance i presented. Anyways got the deep cleaning schedule and after couple hours i came down with fever and inflation, called them up after couple days staff forgot to call the doctor, no follow up was given and i was in pain for weeks. i was told i need half quadrant cleaning and that they will charge two full quadrant cleaning for doing 4 half quadrant which is obvious, i got charged almost $1055 for two quadrant which should be around 450 anyways. very unprofessional
