In 1987 I began making crafts on my kitchen counter as a hobby. One day a neighbor who was visiting asked me why I didn't make them to sell. I was flattered, but had doubts about my ability to produce something nice enough to offer for sale. The next day she came back and offered to buy a wooden shadow box that I had made which she had seen hanging on my den wall.
A year later my crafts had taken up one of our bedrooms and I was selling everything that I could produce. Two years later, I was utilizing the entire basement and two car garage of a new home. In 1993 my husband and I agreed that my "Hobby" had become a "Business" and that in order to grow any more, I had to have retail space.

I have bought a spring, fall, and Christmas wreaths form Simply Southern. Sharon has redone my Christmas wreath twice now. The whole staff is very nice and always has a smile on their faces. They will go out of their way to help you find items or see if they could make it for you. Have been a long time customer and will continue to shop there.

Such a beautiful gift shop!! The owner has excellent taste in what she buys for her shop! When you need something different or a special gift, Simply Southern is the place to go!
The employees are all super nice and very helpful! In fact, if they don’t have the item made up exactly as you would like they will make you one or upgrade yours (such as a wreath) I highly recommend this gift shop as it is a “feast for your eyes, ears, and sometimes your nose!!!”

Have shopped with Sharon and her staff for several years. They always greet their customers with a friendly greeting and always willing to help any way they can. Have always answered my questions and Sharon has always shared her tips for keeping things fresh and pretty. She has always reworked my arrangements with lots of new and fresh ideas. Her shop has some of the most unique gifts. A fun place to shop because everyone is always laughing and having a great time while shopping. This year Sharon helped design the trim for a 60” wreath and it was Stunning!
