The Meeks family has been serving Central Texas since 1897. Owner, Jimmy Meeks, started working with his father and grandfather at age 12 and has been lifting houses ever since. With 4 generations of experience, personally, in concrete slab & pier & beam style houses, Jimmy and his team have firsthand experience on how to solve foundation and drainage issue most effectively for each situation.
Concrete pilings are concrete columns that are pushed into the ground under a foundation and are for homes and light commercial buildings. Steel pilings are double walled steel columns that are driven into the ground under a foundation. They are for homes and light commercial buildings. Non-toxic, water soluble chemicals (potassium ions and ammonium salts) are injected into the ground under your building.
Once they are installed, they can be used right away (concrete drilled piers must harden for a week before they can be used). In each location where a piling is going to be installed, a hole is dug next to the foundation. Each hole is about the size of a doormat. The holes go down to the bottom of your foundation.
Once your pilings are in place, your house can be leveled immediately. The leveling crew will raise your house to as near a level condition as possible, pour your concrete patches, replant your shrubs, rake and wash your yard, and power wash all affected paved areas. Unless interior pilings are installed, we will only need access inside your home during the leveling period to measure and monitor the raising of your slab.
Chemical Injection / Soil Injection Foundation Repair is when non-toxic, water soluble chemicals (potassium ions and ammonium salts) are injected into the ground under your building. These chemicals inhibit soil's ability to absorb water so that when it rains your soils do not swell up. Water sticks to almost anything including clay.

This business has been wonderful! They answer all questions promptly, are always available by phone, and very professional. Kenny and his crew did an excellent job leveling my house. Kenny explained what they were doing, was plots and friendly, and cleaned up carefully when they were done. The guys who did my house are hard working, courteous and very professional. In the last phase of their work, they assessed again the need for installing the remaining interior piers. Based on their assessment, the installation of the remaining piers are not necessary anymore. Their engineer came to confirm that it is really not necessary. They recalculated my bill and I paid less than the original price. All I can say is that this people are with integrity. They could have continued to work on installing the remaining piers and get more money, but they did not.
