I offer either 1.) a theatrical show suitable for 2 to 200 people or 2.) tableside and "mingling" close up magic for your guests or clients during a cocktail hour or reception. My show is about forty minutes in length, and if you book me for "strolling magic" I perform for one to four hours depending on the number of guests and the event schedule.

Alyx had all the kids and adults captivated! She was funny and the right amount of silly, and her magic tricks were SO GREAT! The birthday girl got a souvenir, which she already believes is her most prized possession because it has, "real magic" in it. Alyx's show was an amazing addition to our party.

She was so warm and engaging, and also exciting and fun! And I don't know a lot about magic, but she is clearly one of the best magicians out there.

Alyx was willing to do a zoom show due to an in person was made impossible due to the weather. She held everyone’s attention the entire time with incredible magic that had everyone wondering, talking and mystified the rest of the day. The show was of very high caliber, unique and intriguing that we will schedule another show. Alyx is extremely personable with her audience in an upbeat, kind and jovial manner. Can’t wait to see her again!!

I saw her hour long show at the Smoke and Mirror theater and it totally blew my mind. I drove two hours from New York with my friend on a whim and it ended up being totally worth the drive. We had no idea what to expect at first, but I was on the edge of my seat for the entire hour! I cannot believe all the amazing magic I saw. If she is performing any where near you, this is an absolute must see show. Or even better you should book her for a private show. I know I am for my next birthday party!

I am in London but was lucky enough to watch Alyx Hilshey's show on Saturday 22nd January 2022 at the Smoke And Mirrors Theater in Huntingdon Valley, Philadelphia using their online video streaming of their live theatre shows. Wow, she must be one of the best magicians in the world right now, top level quality magic and great jokes and personality to go with the skilled magic. Also a good variety of different effects. I can see how she manages to survive as an entertainer on the street, which I don't think is an easy place to perform and succeed, by wowing people with performances that are this

Alyx put on a show for my daughter's 7th birthday party (a group of 15+ children and parents). My daughter loved every minute and told me it was her best birthday ever. Alyx was a delight to work with -- professional from start to finish. She made my job of organizing a party much easier and worked around our parameters (e.g. had no problem setting up outside in chilly weather, around a firepit). Alyx is amazing! This was by far the most fun we have ever had at one of our birthday parties. Honestly, I didn’t think I was going to be that into seeing a magic show, but hired Alyx because my kiddo loves magic. Alyx is so good at what she does that every one of us had a blast. Alyx is an awesome magician. Her tricks are impressive for kids and adults alike. I would hire her for a kids birthday party or a gathering of adults!
But what really stood out was how she interacted with the kids. She really grabbed their attention and engaged them. My son couldn't stop talking about it and now worships the fork that Alyx "used the force" to bend, which she gave it to him as a souvenir.
Definitely hire her--you won't regret it!
