I love working within the Charleston, SC area to nurture and support birthing people through fertility, pregnancy, labor, birth and postpartum. I provide nutritional counseling, prenatal yoga, emotional, psychosocial, & perinatal support, physical pain management, informed consent in all prenatal, labor, birth, and postpartum care.
Hydrotherapy via a birth pool is one of the many labor support tools I offer to my home birth families as well as birth pool rentals to local families. Breastfeeding and formula feeding counseling to make sure my doula families are properly prepared to nourish their little one(s). I also provide photography and videography in general, but I offer these to birthing families, as well.

Lorena is THE BEST! She is everything all-natural birthing + raising babies! She carried me through labor for 36 hours without one complaint. She was the tough love I needed (and requested) while also gentle & loving. I felt 900% prepared for birth because of her knowledge + wisdom in our sessions beforehand. And afterwards she even made another house call to Columbia all the way from Charleston! She taught me how to baby-wear & gave me great all-natural tips & tricks for after my daughter arrived too. I am eternally grateful to her for her help during my pregnancy & birth!!!

I’ve searched for many doulas when i found out i was pregnant with my 3rd child and when i came across Lorena i knew she was the one i wanted to guide me through my pregnancy because of her i have a beautiful healthy baby girl, she gave me all of the knowledge and tips nutrition etc... in order to have a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby and everyone in my family is amazed of how fast my baby is moving at only 2 months lol I tell them hire Lorena next time u wanna gave a baby lol, Thank you Lorena for your professionalism and your kindness keep making a difference for the mamas! you are greatly

When I said we are extremely grateful to Lorena for all that she has done. For giving me the power to take back what happens to my body and birth by teaching me about my patient rights and teaching me to trust my body to do what it was made to do. Where do I even begin! Lorena is phenomenal! The knowledge she holds is incredible! She is very informative and detailed. She understood my passion for a home birth and respected every decision we made.
The night of my labor, she came in ready for birth! The set up and the atmosphere was everything I dreamed of! Her voice was calming and her positive energy was the best! She reassured me that I could donit and that my babyband body were working together. She reminded me to breathe deep and to focus on my baby.

We are so very thankful to Lorena for her support before, during, and after my birth!
