This place is really great! They have it all!
Plus masks are worn by workers and required. It's clean, safe and practiced.
I came here wanting bread roll to go with lunch. From the moment I walked in I was greeted and helped! Of course I ended up buying more!
I bought their jalapeño cheese bread that looked really good for lunch and saw a lemon poppyseed muffin and had to get that too!
They have a bunch of great deals everywhere!
I ended up checking out the wine selection on the way out! Grabbed one that looked pretty good and was a reasonable price!

I don't shop at The Market as my usual grocery store, I just stop in when I'm in the neighborhood or want something specific from the meat counter or bakery. My last visit was for strawberry pizzas. They make individual servings and they are so good. Quick in and out. Friendly staff. A bit pricey for this to be my staple store, but I love the bakery items and specific cuts of meat.

What an amazing selection of produce, meats, cheeses, beers, wines, and local products. If you are looking for only the freshest LOCAL produce and meats, then The Market is really your best bet in town. Everything is always very fresh and decently priced, especially for supporting your neighbors. The store itself is clean and well organized and the display cases are abundantly full. Come with a good shopping list, or talk to the staff and find some new favorites. The knowledge of the items they sell is unmatched.

Delicious ready-made food was at my mercy today. I came to the market several times before to get groceries and just little items for being in between.
Today there was a difference than last time and I was assisted by a very polite and kind gentleman named Adam he let me know that they did not have what I was looking for but he could place an order for me to pick up fresh tomorrow.
I placed the order for the items I didn't see and also ordered some other items that just look delicious. Adam was very attentive and answered all of my questions and gave his insight on how the items taste.

Delicious. Got curry, cashew chicken salad, sea food salad, fried Tilapia, hallibit, sliced asian flank steak, a small variety of each for lunch. Each one was outstanding and I'm heading back soon for a bucket of that CC-chicken salad! Yeah, a bit pricey but JUST what you want in the amt you want it. Such a great option. Staff is great and they even had HOT prime rib by the pound....$25.00 a lbs.

Found lots of interesting local goods, including amazing raisins grown by CSUF students.
You don't think raisins are going to be a big deal, but these ARE!
Great prepped food, excellent wine selection, super olive oils with good California representation.

I Do NOT recommend for preorder thanksgiving meals. Unfortunately, the Thanksgiving pre order is disorganized and lacking in management direction. After preordering my meal, 4 weeks prior, and calling in before, my order was lost, not ready when asked and waited over an hour, every employee I spoke to had a different answer on where to stand to pick up order. I also checked my order before leaving, the stuffing was wrong, many others in line complaining with the same issues. The portions are very small, and lacking in value. I wish I would've went back to Marie Calendars!!

The best supermarket in Fresno, bar none. The butcher is fantastic (!) and there are always so many wonderful cuts, marinated meats and varieties. This is an old-school neighborhood grocery store that takes pride in serving people. They carry many things that I cannot get anywhere else, from European crackers and cookies to hard-to-find spices. Their wine and liquor selection is amazing as well from ultra-premium to budget selections. They have a great in-store bakery that serves the most delicious thumbprint cookies. The ONLY downside is the occasional surly brainwashed mask Karen wandering about

Rating is lower because the store is not invested in enforcing masking policies for patrons and many staff are wearing face shields instead of masks. This has no proven effectiveness to prevent the staff from spreading disease. It only protects their eyes from droplets coming at them.
The staff told me their manager said it was approved instead by City of Fresno Manager. According to City, this is inaccurate so I hope they correct. I do love many things I can get at this store. But makes me afraid to shop when things aren't enforced

Called day before to order from the bakery. Whoever answered told me I didn't need to order just come in whenever to get the pie. I show up today and the lady was rude and told me they didn't have any. I said well I called yesterday and they said I didn't have to order... mind you I drove 30 min to get this pie. She had no suggestions or even a smile to help me with my problem. Just that I can order a pie and pick it up late tonight. Which I said I called already to order and the gal that answered said I couldn't order. I'm expected to bring a pie to a gathering in a couple

Okay this has to be my favorite grocery store in town. I loved it when it was Catalanos as well many years ago, but since I have become health conscious and have a hard time finding the things that I like unless I order them online this is the place I go. They have a large assortment of gluten free organic health conscious stuff and oh my gosh their meat is the best in town it's mostly Prime but at the end of the day you can get it marked down so that it rivals Save Mart prices! You have cuts here you can't get anywhere else like for instance the Tomahawk ribeye, even oxtails! Their selection

The market is the perfect grocery store for you if you like organization! I of course have OCD and love how clean and organized this store is. It has the feel of a Whole Foods store without all of the people. Of course the first thing you see when walking in is the bakery section and sometimes I just close my eyes when walking by it LOL! Their bakery items are amazingggg, especially the chocolate chip peanut butter brownies!!!!! They also have the best Thai noodle pasta in the deli section of the store! When I do have the pleasure of making the trip here I'm always happy to have money spent on a local grocery shop. The prices aren't extravagant, probably equal if not lower than Whole Foods or Save Mart.
But my favorite part is the bakery and deli. It is beyond wholesome and homemade. The selection offered is also a lot larger than the other supermarkets; my favorites being the chicken Waldorf salad, Thai noodle salad, cashew chicken, the beerocks-which are so fluffy! My husband

The Market is a very clean store featuring quality products. The store is always very well stocked.
The Market is where I go to when I want a quality steak to take home to cook at my home. The quality of meat is top notch. They feature Harris Ranch Meats. I have always been happy with their meats. I drive 8 miles one way, passing several stores to go here.
The produce is also top notch. I also got some corn to cook tonight as I love corn on the cob. They had some of the corn already shucked so you could see the undamaged kernals
The Bottom line: Will I go back? Hell ya. Every time I want a steak

I LOVE the big bird sandwich from the deli. It's like thanksgiving with the turkey and cranberry sauce. It's something different that I haven't had anywhere else. Their sandwiches are cheap, fresh, and delicious.
They also have a lot of food you can take and bake. I love the twice baked stuffed potatoes.
The only reason I took off a star is because some of the actual groceries are over priced, and because some of the staff seem irritated and have a "stuck up attitude."
