All with Closed loop Encoders, Parallel Shaft Helical Reducers with carburized gears, and AGMA 10 or better gear sets.
The Professionals at Piedmont Hoist have developed a reputation of being Patented Track Specialists. Over the past 10 years, we have been one of the country's largest Patented Track Suppliers. Patented Track Systems are designed for light loads (20 tons and below) and long spans.
These systems are heavily used in the aviation industry, manufacturing processes where loads must be transferred from crane to crane, and in complex monorail systems designed with curves, switches, rotary switches, and track openers.

If you knew me, working for an overhead crane manufacturing company would be the LAST thing you would think I’d consider as a career path, yet here I am. With that, I get asked often “What is it like to be a woman in a male dominated industry” and my answer is always the same, it is great!

I’ve worked for some bad companies in my day, but I’ve never worked for owners that treat their employees as badly as this company does. No raises, poor equipment, unrealistic deadlines pushed back further because of their elementary school engineering make this place hell on earth at times. Not that you get any backing from ownership. They’re just as lost as the engineers.
