Rio is a presentation of modern and traditional cuisine that draws from influences around the globe. Carefully crafted, yet bold flavored. Rooted in tradition, yet adventuring into contemporary tastes, blends the earthy flavors of his native Mexico with worldly ingredients and creative cooking. We are very proud to use recipe's that have been in our Family for generations, taking care to prepare them the right way.
We came in after watching a movie next door, just before closing on a week night. We overheard the owner telling a customer that his recipes come from his grandmother's recipes and he just adds some flare. He under sold it. He is extremely friendly, very prompt and the food is amazing.

Tired of bland and boring food!? Well, this is definitely the place to go for food that will make you want to come back for more. One of my favorite dishes here is the Shrimp Ceviche. It's not your ordinary ceviche. With hints of orange and mango, this dish is refreshing and light and perfect on a summer day. Another favorite of mine is the Molcajete. Shhh...it's not on the menu. This is definitely a dish for two. Trust me, you will love it! And of course, Rio has the BEST Margaritas in town. Stop by and see Raul and Jose and ask them what they recommend. They are friendly and treat you like family

The taste of the rice and beans that were on the side of my meal had no taste. Tasted like the generic rice and bean as most generic Mexican restaurants. The meal was priced high for a taste that was underwhelming. It's been a couple years since I came by and that taste was amazing. Now disappointed and won't be coming back. The flavor wasn't there.

Fast friendly service. She enjoyed her "perfect Margareta" and the beer was nice and cold. I got the Chile Relleno De Mariscos and the Foxi's Callo Y Camaron was her choice for the night. Both were stellar and we'd order them again...if there weren't so many other delicious looking choices that we'dwant to try...yah you'd better stop in if ya can
