State court receiverships are becoming an increasingly popular alternative to bankruptcy in Washington State. Receiverships generally cost less and are largely administered by the parties, their attorneys, and an experienced Receiver; rather than by the Bankruptcy Court and a Bankruptcy Trustee. This gives the parties greater control over the case and often times costs less.
TTLG recently represented a financially-distressed manufacturing Company in the greater Seattle area. At the time that TTLG was initially hired the Company was in default of its obligations to its senior secured lender. Working with the Company's board of directors, it's senior secured lender, and a turnaround specialist, TTLG was able to assist the Company in effectuating a successful sale of the Company in the upper seven figure range.

STAY AWAY from Todd Tracy!
I paid a substantial retainer fee to Todd Tracy, who assured me at the time that if he was conflicted out of our case I would be immediately refunded any unused portion of the retainer. I am a widow and the fee was paid from the proceeds of the death benefit I received when my husband died. I could not really afford to do this, but it is an important matter and I had no other way to satisfy Mr. Tracy's specific payment requirement.
After a very poor performance, allowing $200,000 to be seized from our business, Mr. Tracy was indeed conflicted out of our case and is
