Some wood-burning stoves make it easier to burn fuel by using a chemical process which decreases the formation of pollutants. This process is called catalytic combustion. A wood stove catalytic combustor is comparable to a catalytic converter in a car. Inside the stove, the smoky exhaust passes through a coated honeycomb (the catalyst).

I don't know what their service is like but judging upon how their drivers are on the road, I wouldn't expect it to be very professional. I almost went off the road twice this morning because their driver decided to keep break checking someone 3 cars ahead of me. At one point he came to a dead stop on the freeway. That is very dangerous and could have cost many innocent lives. Maybe they need to teach their drivers some safety before they kill someone.

I can highly recommend Ambassador Fireplaces. Matthew came out to conduct an assessment for a wood stove, stove pipe, and chimney pipe replacement. We could immediately see that he was knowledgeable in everything wood stove related. He was able to answer questions where others could not and showed his expertise with code requirements. Matthew provided a recommendation for a stove and an estimate for cost and installation labor. His team did a great job on the installation. Matthew and his team did a wonderfull job for us. We removed an old woodburning fireplace and Matthew and his team installed a beautifull new gas insert and propane system to accomodate our new gas range and fireplace. They had some big challenges with our chosen mantel, and the stone facing we selected but got the job done in a very professional manner. We could not be happier with the work they did. I recomend them very highly.

We had Ambassador replace the gas logs at a house we bought with a gas insert. The owners and staff are knowledgeable, patient and careful of the details, from protecting our floors during service appointments to managing permitting and helping us track down a rebate. We highly recommend Ambassador to anyone looking for professionalism with a personal touch.
