Caffe Nonna
This delectable eight-layer dish is filled with quality beef, pasta, ricotta, sauteed Swiss chard and finished off with two sauces and lots of cheese. In between this layered Lasagna, sip on Tuscan Winemaker Bocelli's signature blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot. Tasting notes of cherry and sage are sure to complement the hearty, heritage meal that's been a best-seller for twenty years.

Five star experience all the way. The staff was warm, welcoming and accommodating and the ambience was so warm and lovely. We loved everything we ordered and if we are ever in the Nashville area again we will be dining at Caffe Nonna. Highly recommend the bruschettas - the two I've tried, Tuscan and Adriatic are both really good.

I have lived in the Nashville area my entire life. This place has crept in to my favorite restaurant. The staff is great. The food is out of this world. This place takes me into what Nashville is before Nashville became the sheik hip spot for the rest of the country. It truly is a hidden gem.

Caffe Nonna is the best Italian in the city, I absolutely love the atmosphere and the food is to die for. We love to start with the seafood bruschetta and I am a big fan of the mix and match pasta with penne, and if you're going to get a sauce, you HAVE to try the spicy vodka cream sauce. 10/10 I recommend to everyone who asks.

My husband and I dined here last night and it was exceptional!! The service was great. We ordered a bottle of wine, the fried rice balls, the lasagna, and the great your own spicy vodka cream chicken fettuccine. We both enjoyed our meals and the atmosphere! We can’t wait to come back again soon

This restaraunt was adorable! It has a very quaint and romantic atmosphere. The menu is smaller, but definitely some tasty items. My fiancé and I LOVED the haystack fries.

We came here through a Groupon deal. It's a quaint little italian restaurant. We sat outside though, I would suggest sitting inside if you get cold easily. There's a small parking lot in the front but none was available so we ended up parking on the street about a block away.

My boyfriend made reservations for 6:30pm and it was pretty packed so reservations are highly recommended. We had:
mussels with fries - the mussels were a little overcooked and the fries were more like hash browns but very dry and not very good.

lamb shank - this was pretty good. It was tender and had great flavor

We came here based on reviews and a recommendation so we had an open mind as everyone has different tastes when it comes to Italian food and pizza. I have a few tips to make you aware of before going. You need to make reservations and I would suggest not outside. If your trying to impress a date that is not the place at all. We didn’t know there was a choice of outside or not. If your looking for the white table cloth and uniform wait staff move on. Make sure to give extra time to find parking and be prepared to walk. We are used to thin rings of calamari with light breading. You will get thick

Small, intimate place - perfect for dates. Lasagna Bolognese was solid - locally made pasta and grass fed beef. Mix & match pasta has so many variations and possibilities - perfect for the picky eater or Italian food pro. The Tuscan White Bean soup is special and a definite recommendation.

We love this place! The servers are awesome and the food is great! Don’t be a Karen if it takes a bit to get your food, it’s fresh and busy and worth the wait. Just anticipate it’s not a fast food restaurant, grab an appetizer and some wine and enjoy not rushing. This is one of our top favorite places to go for date night. It’s not a pretentious place, which makes it a true Nashville gem!

Charming little Italian joint in a hip neighborhood that serves up one of the best dishes anywhere.

Came here for a belated 30th birthday dinner with my mother & wife at 5:30 on a Sunday. Place was not yet busy when we arrived but by 6:00 it was basically full up. Service was excellent & made the best recommendation regarding the lamb shank (a must have if you like lamb). Literally one of the best meals I've had in nashville in years & the best version of prepared lamb shank by far. Also has the fried rice cheese ball appetizer (name is escaping me) & it was very good.

Quaint little joint. We were asked if we had a reservation when we arrived and we didn't. Luckily we were there before 6 as the place started to fill up shortly after. I ordered the seafood pasta and my husband had the lasagna. Both were delicious but my husband said the seafood pasta was amazing. It was a huge portion loaded with seafood. The lasagna was a decent portion as well. The white wine selection wasn't all that but we were there for the food. We finished the evening with tiramisu and coffee. The dessert was light and fluffy and the coffee was fresh. We were very happy when we

This is a true Italian joint. The fresh complimentary bread was so moist. The caesar salad was perfect. Everyone loved their meals and it was affordable. My only complaint is that the bolognese seemed to lack a bit of flavor depth and the chunks of tomatoes in it still had the skin which made it tougher to chew. Overall, it was a great experience and atmosphere. If you find yourself in Sylvan Park, make a pit stop in this rustic Italian eatery!

Food is excellent, I had the Lasagna Nonna and my wife had mix and match pasta. Her cheese ravioli with vodka cream sauce was delicious. The lasagna was unique and very tasty. Parking is slim in front of the restaurant but street parking was easy enough. Worth a visit for sure.

Wow! We discovered this place on accident and were completely blown away. The lasagna bolognese was the best my husband and I have EVER had, and we've been to some of the finest Italian restaurants in New York and DC. Their wine selection is expansive, the arancini is to die for, and the tiramisu melts in your mouth! Everything is clearly homemade and the service was also top notch - we had Ethan as our server and he was attentive, quick to make suggestions on the menu, and was so pleasant to talk to. We can't wait to come back!

Came to Caffe Nonna for a girls night out and it was delicious. Our waiter was new, he said he had been there one week so far. But his recommendations and knowledge of the menu were impressive! We got an appetizer aracini, twas delightful. Then we shared garlic mussels and pasta with red sauce and meatballs. Can't wait to go back!

I've lived in Nashville for 20 years and I don't think any other Italian restaurant can compare to them. Cafe Nonna is a little hole in the wall and the food is DELICIOUS! Its a small and quaint space and the service is very friendly and on point. The portions are insanely big which is great so make sure you're hungry. I haven't been in a few years and it was just as delicious as I remember. Will definitely be back again soon. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!

Great place for a social dinner or even a romantic one. We sat outside. It was sooo crowded. Great Italian ambiance. Our server was great, very professional but even talked with our toddlers and made us feel welcomed. It was jammed packed, and we waited extra long for our meals so we got a great free dessert. The food was amazing!!!!!! Seafood and pasta meal is a bit spicy but I love spicy food, it was so good I was sopping up the broth with the bread. Brought leftovers home and they were delicious even the next day.

Tucked away in a strip of restaurants and shops on Murphy Road in Sylvan Park, Caffe Nonna has never caught my attention. After finishing my first meal there, I can't believe it's taken me this long to try it.

The interior of the restaurant is small and cozy. Making a reservation is almost a necessity to avoid a wait. The waiters and waitresses were all very kind and attentive, checking on us throughout the course of our meal.

For my entree, after much deliberation, I decided on the Lasagna Nonna. I thought if it had "Nonna" in the name, it must be a good bet. And that gamble

10/5 Experience

The staff was great. Upon our arrival we were greeted with legitimate smiles. Would recommend making a reservation, although there was very little wait for walk-ins (think ~5mins).

The staff was happy and friendly, the service was perfectly timed, and the food was some of the best in Nashville. We ordered the Seafood Bruschetta, Lasagna Nonna, & Lamb Shank. Prices are great for what they are serving. Favorite place in Nashville.

This place is cozy but very limited in space. I'm glad made reservations once we saw how small the place was. We were seated in an odd area. The table was literally right next to the bar and in an area that servers constantly walk by. It was just weird considering there were other available tables by the wall. The food was ok. Nothing spectacular about it or I don't see myself craving for.

At the end of our meal, I noticed that water was dripping from the ceiling. It was raining pretty hard outside that night. One of the servers came over with a bucket trying to catch the water but

Came here for a romantic dinner getaway. I got the build your own pasta with fettuccine, vodka cream sauce, and Italian sausage. It was very good, but the sauce was fairly heavy. Definitely had a kick to it! Shoutout to Sara for making this experience so enjoyable. Only reason I do not give full 5/5 stars is because of the choice of flower arrangements. I wish the peonies were more consistent throughout the tables, hydrangeas and tulips slightly messed with the vibe.

I tried to come to Cafe Nonna's with a guy friend a few years ago, but never got to try the food because it took so long for someone to come to our table that we left. I decided to give them a second chance because my friend wanted to try it so we made reservations for Friday night at 7pm. First off, this place is small, not great environment for Covid safety. We walked in and again, it took longer than it should for someone to greet us..and when they did...they greeted the couple behind me so I had to intervene and let them know we were here first. Strange , seeing as obviously we were there

Oh lawd.

First, let me say that we moved to Nashville from somewhere with great options for Italian food. After moving here and trying some that I heard recommendations about, I was dismayed because I thought Nashville would have no great options like back home.

Boy, was I wrong. Enter Caffé Nona...

We called ahead for a reservation and they do take them, but it's a tiny place (read: cozy) so don't expect an empty table waiting for you. We were in no hurry and there were quite a few people waiting in the small entryway. We only waited around 10 minutes, but it was also later on a

I'll start off by saying this place is good and worth a visit.

My wife and I went on a Friday night and it was packed. We called Thursday night to make a reservation for 6:45 and didn't have a problem making one, not bad considering it's a Friday evening at the peak of dinner time.

The waiter we got was not good. I had to flag him down several times to order drinks and ask about bread. He really only took our order and provided the check and that was it, he never asked about the food or did any drink checkups. He wasn't rude but just not attentive.

We started with an
