Services
At Five Star Music & Dance Academy, our instructors specialize in music and dance instruction for children, teenagers, and adults. We organize events and recitals, which create opportunities for students to perform and showcase their talents. Our goal is to create memorable experiences through music!
Online Classes are still available. In addition, the option now also exists for private "in person" classes with new safety rules and regulations in place. Our producers have consistent support from the world's most influential DJs and producers including Grammy-nominated Paul Oakenfold, Armin van Buuren, Tiesto and much more.

I am so happy for signing up my son for his piano lessons with Uncle Ed . My son has been taking piano lessons since he was 5 years old but we were not satisfied with his previous teacher. Not until we started taking him to Five Star music and dance academy that we noticed a significant improvement on my sons piano skills . We are so thankful for Uncle Ed.

At the age of 32, I decided to start learning piano and Uncle Ed is the best! He gave me the confidence to learn and customized his teaching style to my capabilities! Uncle Ed has been nothing but a great instructor very friendly. My daughter at age 12 has never touched piano and his teaching technique is awesome and very patient. From the first class my daughter was playing piano already. I would recommend this place 100%- I would if i could also get her into dancing with Ellenie :)

We love Five Star Music & Dance! We’ve been members of the academy for three years now, and Ellenie, Edwin & Medick have become like family to us. We’ve watched our daughter grow so much in her dance skills! Ellenie is an excellent teacher, and the improvement in the kids is amazing year to year. Our daughter LOVES going to dance, and it’s been so much fun to watch her passion for it grow since working with Ellenie. We’re so grateful we found this studio!

Update: We just had our first recital and it was absolutely breathtaking! The students did a wonderful job and Ellenie's work really came through in every song! We walked away proud parents and super grateful for everything five star music academy does for our girls. Thank you!!!!

Five Star Music and Dance Academy is a great place. Edwin and his wonderfully friendly staff create such an inviting atmosphere for students. As a former dance student at Five Star, I can easily say that being part of the Five Stat family has been a great experience. I highly recommend Ellenie's classes. She's a great dancer, and teacher and is wonderful with kids.

My name is JA Williams and I am a film director. When looking for a location to produce my film (based on Racism) I stumbled upon Five Star Music Academy. This musical gem was more than just a location, it became a refuge for this production that evolved into a life long friendship. Edwin was the first person I met when walking into this atmosphere of musical excellence. I pitched the film to Edwin and upon listening intently (as he does so well), he offered FSMA location for free. He wanted to be a part of this creative journey. I was overwhelmed by his graciousness and still am to this day.

Where do I even begin?! My daughter has been with Five Star Music & Dance Company for about 1 year and has grown leaps and bounds with her technique. My daughter loves her teacher Ellenie and they had a beautiful performance last Sunday. My girl has been dancing in this studio for more than a year and she have learned many moves as well as balance.
They are very friendly family business. I recommend it.

My daughter started attending dance classes with Ellenie about 3 months ago. This is her first time in dancing class. At the beginning she absolutely refused to dance, listen to the teacher, any word, she didn't follow the rules and was more interested in the view outside the window.
But thanks to the hard work, patience and love for her job, Ellenie has managed to attract my daughter's attention to all the dancing. Now she goes to the dance lessons with pleasure and it's growing so much.

My niece began dance lessons with Ellenie several weeks ago and it's been beyond rewarding! She looks forward to class, she's very engaged and loves putting on all the fun little outfits her teacher plans for her. I can't pretend to know what other teachers are like but I do know my niece and she's not the most comfortable person with most adults, but she absolutely adores Ellenie, so in my book, she qualifies for an amazing teacher.

Great music lessons, solid rehearsal space, and they're normally open later than they're supposed to be, which is great for late night gigs when you need to buy some last-minute equipment.
They're also able to bring in custom-made "speciality" ethnic instruments, which are either not mass-produced or tough to come by in your average music store.
