What is Reiki? Reiki (Ray-Kee) is a Japanese technique for stress relief and relaxation that boosts the immune system and enhances the body's natural ability to heal itself. The technique was developed in Japan. It is based on the idea that all living things have a special energy flowing through them called life energy.
When your life energy is high, you'll feel strong and confident, more relaxed and centered, and less likely to get sick. When it is low, you'll often feel tired, and more easily affected by stress and less resistant to illness. Reiki balances the energy centers of the body and is a deeply calming experience.

Services
To become a Reiki Practitioner, you must attend Reiki training classes, study all course manuals, receive necessary Attunements/Placements and participate in hands on Reiki experience. Graduates of Reiki I & II must wait a minimum of six months prior to attending any Advanced Reiki Courses. If you are beginning your Reiki Training, you start by attending Reiki I & II.

Students must wait a minimum of 6 months after completing Reiki I & II in order to participate in the Reiki Master Class. Classes are kept small (4-8 students) to insure individual and personalized training. To qualify to take this class a student must be Reiki I & II Certified, and have practiced Reiki for at least 6 months.
Holy Fire III Karuna Reiki is a new form of Reiki introduced by the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT). It is both powerful and gentle and provides purification, healing, empowerment and guidance. Holy Fire energy is noticeably more refined and comes from a higher level of consciousness.
Karuna is a Sanskrit word and is used in Hinduism and Buddhism. It is translated to mean any action that is taken to diminish the suffering of others and could also be translated as "compassionate action." When individuals experience enlightenment, they report that all beings are known as one. Therefore, it is natural to extend compassionate action or Karuna to everyone without distinction because we are all one.

Kathy is a wonderful teacher and spiritual person. I have been thinking about studying Reiki for a while and I'm so happy I found her and took her Reiki I and II certification. I'm looking forward for taking more classes with her, her energy, personality and friendliness made me feel as if I already knew her. Classes include theory and practice, even thou it was via zoom, the way she taught and guide the class was very clear and easy to follow and understand. To say there is something magical and special about working with Kathy Golden, well that's only part of the joy of working with her. I've had the pleasure to take a few of her Reiki trainings as well as get my akashic records read by her. Kathy is the best teacher I've had! Learning Reiki and getting my certifications with her has been such a great journey. I continue to seek her services when I need Reiki. A few months ago my pets passed. My three babies had been with me for over 10yrs, losing them, one after another within the same month was devastating. I went to Kathy and had such an amazing healing session. I can't recommend her enough.

Kathy is wonderful! The weekend in January getting my reiki certification levels I and II was a transformational journey that opened so many doors for me. The courses were informative, uplifting, welcoming, and strengthening. I already have several clients that I work with virtually at a long distance and feel completely comfortable in my practice. I was interested in learning about Reiki and I Googled a Reiki center near me and found The Golden Reiki Center. I went through my Level I/II course with Kathy Golden back in March 2020, yep, right before the world shut down! I wasn’t able to practice my new Reiki practitioner abilities as there was no one to practice on. As the months passed, Kathy was kind enough to offer the course again at a huge discount just so we could keep up on our process. I learned even more the second time around. I have taken Kathy's Holy Fire Reiki l & ll training and her Reiki Master Class. She is a thoughtful and clear instructor. I would not be where I am today without her guidance. Not only is she an excellent teacher, but she is also a wonderful mentor and, she cares about her students. Kathy's support has continued long after my training. She is a genuine and kind person. Words can't express what a fantastic reiki practitioner Kathy is, you just have to experience it for yourself.
