Auroralight
Company president and lead designer Michael Joye founded Auroralight in 1996. His guiding vision: to build a better landscape lighting fixture, capable of enduring the coastal California environment without sacrificing aesthetics or craftsmanship. From the beginning, Mike knew he had to work with materials that were both durable and elegant.

The aluminum and plastic fixtures on the market lacked refinement and consistently failed under beachside conditions, so Mike settled on pure copper and solid brass for his new designs. These materials have since become the hallmarks of the Auroralight brand, enabling our luminaires to withstand the effects of salt, sea, and time with grace.
Services
Since 1996, architects and lighting designers across the world have chosen Auroralight products to illuminate their most important projects. We stand by everything we build with expert technical advice and we back our products with our industry-best lifetime warranty. Every Auroralight luminaire is manufactured at our beautifully landscaped facility located in Carlsbad, California USA.
Auroralight's hallmark material is natural copper. Because precipitation, sun exposure, and humidity all contribute to the development of a natural patina, how quickly your luminaires age will depend on your local conditions. Generally, untreated copper and brass darken after approximately 30 days of outdoor exposure.
Auroralight has been trusted by landscape architects and lighting designers for over 20 years. Our high quality products and lifetime warranty speak for themselves. However, we also pride ourselves in our customer service. Many thanks for the outstanding service provided for the light repair. I knew they were good lights when they were installed, but I have never appreciated the warranty when it was told to me.

I have installed 1,000's of Aurora fixtures up and down the coast from Coronado to Newport Beach as a custom home electrician for over 20 years. Many of these homes we have maintained through several home owner. I have never had to replace a light due to a manufacturing issue. I have had them repaired when they have been driven over by cars and lawnmowers, when they have been struck with golf clubs or had trees fall of them. Aurora has fixed or replaced everyone. Yes they cost more than the light you'll replace every couple of years but they will last a lifetime. If you can see the ocean from your

In 2005 & 2006 (ten years ago and counting) I built two homes in Cardiff by the Sea, CA. I used Aurora Lights for all the exterior lighting. I am very glad I did as they still work and look great. The reason I note where I built these homes is that it's very close to the beach and corrosion is a way of life this close to the beach. This companies products hold up being a testimony to their quality. I am doing another house now and will be using their products exclusively. Light it up!
