After spending years honing his craft in New York City, native son David Andrews returned to Nashville to open a modern bakery with a southern sensibility. D'Andrews Bakery & Cafe, located in downtown Nashville, offers customers everything from delicious pastries to sandwiches on freshly-baked bread.

David prides himself in bringing recipes, similar to those in top New York restaurants, to his customers here in Nashville. Using the best ingredients in his dishes, David ensures he is offering his guests superior desserts and pastries. Everything in the store is made in-house and nothing pre-made is shipped in.

We stumbled in here for brunch after being sick of eating the usual fried food that Nashville only seems to offer at the regular Broadway haunts and were blown away! All fresh baked pastries, an amazing soup, some sandwiches made from scratch with delicious fresh veggies, and a damn good coffee! Come here if you want healthy, home-cooked food and your tired of eating the same ol' fried foods. You will not be disappointed!

Had a great experience before the Ballet performance on a weekday. The bakery items were lovely. There were gluten sensitive and standard options. Lots of coffee choices. The bakery was very clean and Baristas we're very attentive to customers.
I would definitely visit again.

Very friendly service and a cute vibe. Stopped here with the family for breakfast before the Music City Bowl. The croissants were super buttery and the donut was loaded with sugary goodness (my son loved it!l

D’Andrews was the perfect start to our day in Nashville! We stumbled on it by a wrong turn & are so happy we found them! The breakfast sandwiches, bakery items, & coffee was amazing! The staff was also patient and helpful with me having to make decisions on what to get! So many amazing choices!

Can’t believe I’ve just found this place. The food is amazing. I have come across so many mediocre breakfast sandwiches, and I was so delighted to find the perfect that is their bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. We also tried some pastries which were equally fresh and amazing. They make and/or bake everything from scratch and you can definitely tell.

Local. Delicious. Fast. This place provides this area with so much more than good food and coffee. It's a smile when you come in the door. It's the attitude of the staff. The food and the bakery are incredible. Absolute plus. I come here often. Will continue to do so.
