At Palace Shoe Repair in Rockford, IL we have a quick turnaround on our Red Wing and Thorogood Work Boots. For those who are close to our work boot repair shop in down town Rockford please bring your Red Wing Boots in. If you have Red Wing work boots, it only takes us a few days to turn around and get them back into the mail for you.
We sell the US American Made Thorogood Work Boots at our down town Rockford location. The reason I like selling them is because if the bottom fall off I can put new bottoms on them here at my shop. All the leather is beautifull, made to last, and of the highest quality. We don't send our work boots out to anybody for repairs.

I needed a pair of sandals repaired that broke after two wearings. I went to a few places in the area and they all told me that they couldn't help me. When I walked in, with my amateur suggestion, they recommended a better solution and took care of it while I waited. The owners told me that if the solution didn't work, that they would try something else. I have found a great shoe repair shop.

I took a pair of boots in for repair. I love these boots and wear them so much I wore a hole in the sole. The service and workmanship at Palace Shoe Repair is outstanding! A pair of my expensive, knee-length, high heeled leather boots ($300+) were in need of repair and the folks here did exactly just that. I called first to make sure they can repair leather soles and then brought in the boots for a quote. For just $40, they repaired the soles of my boots, patched up all the scratches, and polished the leather. In less than 3 days, my boots were ready and they look new again!
This was my first time going to a shoe repair store, so I didn't know what to expect, but they sure set the bar high! The customer service here is superb. I can definitely see myself returning

A fabric eyelet ripped out of an expensive Merrill boot. It was impossible to get a snug fit. Three other eyelets also looked like they'd rip out soon. The boots were practically new. I went to Yelp and found the Palace Shoe Service, drove 35 miles to the store, and actually didn't think this problem could be fixed, because it was unusual. Well, Dave said it was no problem, riveted in four metal eyelets, and the boots were saved. I recommend this place because everybody was very nice, they did the job, and the price was right.

I dropped off a pair of my Allen Edmonds dress shoes for new soles and heels last week when I was in town visiting family. I had never done business with Palace Shoe Repair before but was impressed with the exceptionally high reviews from other customers. I was totally impressed with the friendliness of the owners and the incredible quality of their work. I now have a pair of shoes that look like brand new for under $75. I would highly recommend their work to anyone. Despite the fact that I live in North Carolina I will definitely be back.

Rockford Palace Shoe Repair does awesome work for reasonable prices. All custom shoes and heel replacements are comfortable.
