Soggy Bottom Waterproofing
Soggy Bottom Waterproofing was started in 1992 and is a family owned and operated business. We keep homes dry by turning unused floor space into beautiful living areas. Quality comes first - we treat every job as if it were our own homes, and keep our overhead low to keep your prices down. We install basement and crawl space waterproofing within a 150-miled radius of Winston Salem, North Carolina.

We install Vapor Barriers in crawl spaces and crawl space encapsulations and dehumidifiers to control mold in basements and crawl spaces and dry these areas. Our commercial dehumidifiers are Santa Fe, within 3 sizes up to 2800.00 sq. We also do outside catch basins, underground gutter run offs, trenching, and backfill around foundations to create a slope away from the house and foundation walls.

Soggy Bottems is a great company! Tony the owner is very honest which can be hard to find in the waterproofing business sometimes. He is highly knowledgeable in al aspects. This company does what you need done to fix the problem and does not try to sell you things that you don’t need just so they can make more money for the company profit. No salesman just good ole honest business that is there for the customer. Do what they say, always on time and works to make the process as easy as possible. Small company with hard working people. Great business .. if you want a great waterproofing job and

A crook! , my mom paid this company over a thousand dollars three years ago and never finished the job. He left the roll of plastic and said it has to dry before he can install it. He was paid for the whole job but never came back after several calls. I had to get my son to roll out the plastic. He should refund us for the part he never completed. I don't recommend this company

We detected dampness in a corner of a basement bedroom. Certain we had a leak allowing seepage from outside, we called to schedule an estimate. While one company had a $300 charge to come look at the problem and deliver an estimate, Soggy Bottom's estimate was free. Once he arrived, he checked it out and diagnosed the problem as plastic that the house's previous owners had placed underneath the carpet. I was told to remove the plastic - which was essentially causing accumulated condensation to migrate to the far corner of the room - and the problem would go away. While other companies would have

Tony did some structural work to my bowing foundation walls. The work was done quickly and job site was left clean. Soggy bottom was easy to work with and gave a fair price. Highly recommend!

Hi anyone who has a wet crawl space. We live on the side of a hill and my home was built in the 1970s. Over the years our crawl space was moist intermittently but then it started getting wet to the point of standing water and mold enough to require replacing a section of damaged flooring. Two companies (not Soggy Bottom Waterproofing) repaired the floor, removed mold and put down vapor barrier and said they had fixed the problem. However, the water under the house returned quickly, even rising up out from under the vapor barrier to make pools of water on top of the vapor barrier. The companies

Great experience with these guys. They came in put in a french drain in our crawl space in 2 quick days. We found the issue when we did an inspection on our house. We wanted to spend as little money as possible AND still FIX the problem, not band-aid it. These guys were cheaper and faster than the other 2 companies I called (B-dry and Tarheel Basements). We also felt that he listened to what we needed and didn't try to oversell us on stuff since we were selling the house!
