Tippecanoe Herbs is a small family business founded by herbalist Kyle Denton and wife Serena Marinelli founded in 2015. We create herbal medicine in small batches with herbs that we harvest locally, that we can acquire from local farms, and from organic sources. We offer our blended formulas in person at farmer's markets, at our brick and mortar shop, at events, and online in our shop here.

Services
Tinctures are concentrated forms of herbal medicine. They are herbs that have been extracted using alcohol and water, sometimes with glycerine. The concentration allows this type of medicine to be taken in smaller doses, usually from 1-20 drops depending on the formula. Here you'll find our formulas (which are combinations of herbs for a certain therapeutic goal) as well as single herb extracts.

Truly a work of art this herbal shop is. With every product that is curated, you can see & feel the dedication to herbal medicine. DON"T buy the massage oil. My wife now wants me to massage her everyday with it...She says The product hits the spot, makes her feel relaxed, and can't have a massage without it. Your partner will be beyond happy that you decided to make the purchase. On top of that the owners Kyle and Serena are super friendly and intelligent. I trust herbal medicine because growing up my great grandma was herbalist (doctor essentially) in Thailand, my mother used to tell me only her medicine would work on my bad skin rashes and sickness.

Visited this shop for the first time yesterday and will absolutely be returning. Owners are extremely friendly and knowledgeable and helped me find a few products to assist with some health issues I’ve been having. Great selection of bulk herbs, spices, teas, along with a variety of tinctures and other similar products. Also ordered a matcha latte that was delicious! Must-see shop in Bayview!!

I have nothing but glowing words for Kyle, Serena and their magical shop. I’ve been a repeat client for quite some time now and will continue to come back. From their fire cider, and hiker salve to their endless supply of herbs - I love it all. If you haven’t already, I highly recommend stopping in. You won’t be disappointed!

One of a very few apothecaries in MKE but definitely the best. Kyle, the owner and herbal expert, and his wife are the sweetest duo who truly care about each individual that comes through their doors. Kyle often does educational herb walks and events that can be found through their website. I recently went on the Solstice herb walk and it was a wealth of information and fun! We even saw a baby skunk trying to learn a thing or two. They are currently between shops right now but do check out their online store. All items responsibly, ethically, and simplistically made with love. My partner loves

I went in because I was curious about adaptogens and I walked out with SO MUCH MORE! Kyle gave me personalized attention and helped me select the right products for my health concerns. He even recommended lifestyle changes and supplements that weren't sold in store. That's how I knew that Kyle is an herbalist of integrity. I've spent hundreds for time with professionals at his level of education. It's so nice to meet someone who holds space for others the way he does. This store is great! We met Kyle and Nina at a craft fair and have been buying their products since then. The teas are delicious. We have tried many of their medicinal products and the results are amazing. I have shared their products with friends and family who have all been impressed. Tippecanoe is such a gem in this community. I've been a fan of Kyle's since discovering his booth at street fairs a few years ago, and have been so excited that he's finally set up shop permanently. My husband and I have been to classes here, taken herb walks, and it's the first place we shop when we need a remedy (or to stock up on herbs for our home!). I can't say enough good things about Kyle and his wife and the work they're doing in our community- make this place a priority if you haven't been!

Stumbled upon this place going to check out the Dream Lab. Glad I did.
Lots of different herbs, bought some sassafras to make tea with. Makes a gooey but alluring tea.
Also bought an abalone shell, which serves as a beautiful place to burn palo santo wood.
Got a marimo aka pet moss ball who likes to take showers and get squeezed every once in awhile. Very weird, very cute
