Crack filling is the placement of asphalt emulsion into non-working cracks to reduce water infiltration and to reinforce the adjacent pavement. It is a small amount of a tar mix that is mixed with water to the consistency of paint and brushed carefully into the pores and surface of the repair area just prior to placing the repair material.

In this method, mixing asphalt and using it to cover the broken surface takes place. Then forming a patch to prevent water from penetrating and causing further damage to your asphalt. Parking lot or line striping is used to mark and designate various parking spots in a parking lot.
