Services
In 1994 Dinesh and Julia Mader founded Rasayana Cove Ayurvedic Retreat as the first rural residential retreat in America offering Kerala Ayurveda treatments for strengthening well being of body, mind, and spirit. Dinesh Mader contributes his experience and background in massage therapy, yoga, Ayurveda, and a long-standing love of nature, the Healing Mother.
The retreat property at Rasayana Cove gives the opportunity of resting in harmony with nature. Far from the busy cities it offers 25 acres of pristine woodlands bordering wilderness Horse Creek. The habitat is varied -- grassy fields, neighboring cow pastures, majestic oaks, palmetto thickets, cypress bayheads, and two spring-fed ponds.
Our aim at Rasayana Cove is to offer the clinical treatments of Ayurveda in accordance with the tradition as it is practiced in the therapy centers of Kerala, India. We are qualified and competent to meet this goal having conducted research and gained practical experience in that region over a period of years.
It is not only a medical science, but is concerned also with our social, ethical, intellectual, and spiritual life. It combines the accuracy of science with the sublimity of philosophy, metaphysics, poetry, and art. Its functional principles are undying and universal. Ayurveda has been called metaphorically "The Mother of Healing".
Classical Ayurveda embraces eight branches of medicine: surgery, internal medicine, psychiatry, pediatrics, toxicology, otolarygology, virilization, and rejuvenation. The latter is called Rasayana in Sanskrit, the original language of Ayurvedic science. Rasa is a pervasive satisfaction that derives from a unique concurrence of contributing factors.

I had a great time relaxing and unwinding here. Each day I meditated in the morning and evening. I ate 3 nutritious auruvedic meals and I had a relaxing afternoon massage. The compound is out in the country and my cabin was surrounded by beautiful Florida at its best. The staff was very friendly and happy to share about Auruveda. I will caution others in that this place is a place to retreat to, to get recharged and to enjoy a bit of quiet and solitude. There are no tv’s here, internet is sporadic and I only had 1 bar on my cell phone. But if you enjoy natu, peace and quiet, good food and company
