LTL or less than truckload shipping is when the shipper, whether that is the manufacturer or distributor of the goods, utilizes a common carrier's network of terminals, trucks and trailers to ship smaller shipments. These small shipments usually occupy up to 1/3 of the floor space on a typical 53' trailer and are transported along with shipments from the common carrier's other clients.

The key to using Fteight Run is to pick the best carriers there - NOT the cheap ones! Regular shippers such as ourselves leave Customer Reviews on FreightRun and clearly if you choose one of the better rated carriers such as XPO Estes New Holland etc that will determine your Customer experience more than FreightRun. I have fantastic shipping experience with FreightRun in large part because we insist on Quality Carriers. If I am shipping bricks and there is no deadline sure I can choose a one star carrier, but usually I care more than that so I always get a highly rated carrier, also the
