She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. She continued her education and received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA in 2000. She also received her Glaucoma certification from Berkeley School of Optometry.
If you don't have vision insurance, we can usually bill your health insurance for the greater portion of the examination or give you discounted rate for our services. Payment is required, whether it comes from you or your insurance company. Your insurance company or vision plan is an agent of you. We are happy to assist you in filing your insurance claim as a courtesy to you.
At HMB Optometry we use state of the art, latest diagnostic technology including, Topcon Auto-keratorefractor, Topographer, Topcon Retinal Camera, Auto-Phoropter, and Ziess-Humphrey visual field system. This new technology helps us in the quality of diagnosis, management and treatment of ocular diseases.
Comprehensive eye examination indicates whether you have a vision problem that can be corrected with prescription eye wear. You have choices in terms of Eyeglasses, frames, lenses, or contact lens. Depending upon the occasions, you may have multiple eye care products most suitable to your lifestyle.

I'd recommend Dr. Tina Han for her expertise and the friendly, patient manner she conducts her exams. I took my daughter for a contact fitting and she spent a lot of time with her, showing her different techniques and encouraging her. She walked in scared and walked out confident. She treated my daughter with respect and empathy. Thank you Dr. Tina Han!
