Henry J. Mollenberg and Jacob Betz started a machine shop to perform general machining and design work. Citizens' Dairy of Lockport, New York, asked Mollenberg-Betz to design and install a refrigeration system, the genesis of our legacy in refrigeration technology. Mollenberg-Betz installed the first air conditioning system in Buffalo for Sattler's Department Store.
