Shayla began nurturing her natural healing abilities over 30 years ago when she began studying under a Master of 'laying on of hands'. After many years of doing intuitive healing, she yearned for more formal training. Shayla is a gifted bodywork specialist. She was blessed to learn the Hawaiian healing touch and is a pleasure to work with. Her studio is pleasant and convenient with easy access. Shayla is popular and her schedule was booked. I wanted a two hour massage which was not available. I mentioned that in Notes when making the appointment before arriving in Maui. Shayla responded and accommodated my request.

Shayla truly is a natural healer! Her 90 min massage was pure heaven. From the moment you walk into her studio you feel relaxed. She has calming wave and bird music on, and uses her own concoction of natural massage oils that smelled and felt delicious! She also has a massage chair that can put you into multiple positions which aid in stretches while she's massaging you. I am a surfer and play volleyball and have really tight shoulders and back. Her touch was firm and she intuitively focused in on the areas that needed extra attention. She knew just what I needed to loosen up my tight muscles

Shayla is great. She's very intuitive - in tune - with bodywork and healing. My neck was so tight and stiff, plus I was experiencing knee issues. My neighbor recommended Shayla (she's been going for years) and I'm so grateful for the recommendation. I had full range of motion and no knee pain after seeing her. Now, I get in with her once a month to release the tension and tight spots.

I have been receiving massages for many years now and was wonderfully surprised at Shayla's technique. Her method for relieving the neck/shoulder area was AMAZING! My gluts are always sore from Pilates and Paddling and her methodology on my gluts loosened them right up and I slept pain free. Highly recommend Shayla! And her office space is so warm and welcoming, from the best massage chair to the bamboo foot roller.

I highly recommend Shayla. Her expertise shows. Her tools, from the Inter X machine to the Ultrasound and others, lift her sessions way above other massage therapists. Her TABLE is incredible- with a mechanized drop-out shelf for large breasted/implants/after surgery women. Incredibly comfortable! So i just got the best massage of my life. Shayla Massage. Located in Kihei. She has all of the state of the art equipment to assist in the therapy. I felt she truly cared about my concerns and was very informative durning the whole process. I have had sharp pains in my lower back for 2 weeks. I like to consider myself as someone who is pretty in tune with my body. I see a PT monthly, Chiropractor a few times a year, and always get regular massage back in my home town. I am currently on vacation in Maui, and have travelled half way around the world with my 2 year old over the last few weeks, so yeah, I needed a good rub down! I read great reviews on Shayla, so decided to check her out. All I can say is WOW... Best massage I think I have ever had. She goes deep! She was able to zero in on the source of our pain and carefully worked the areas until the pain dissipated. She has immense knowledge of the body , its structure and tension points. Honestly the best Massage that I've ever had! I went to Shayla because of pain I was experiencing in my lower back and left hip area. I've been dealing with this pain from a past injury for 6 years and have gone to so many different massage therapist. When I walked in to Shayla's I was having a hard time walking, but by the end of the session was feeling so much better! That day I was still experiencing some pain, as she told me I would, but by the next day I was feeling nearly 100%! From seriously sharp pain to nearly 100% in a day is a miracle in my eyes. I have cervical degenerative discs and chronic pain for 6 years, seeing Shayla was a breakthrough for me. Shayla understood the origins of pain better than the top 5 neurosurgeons I have seen in LA.
She worked many modalities and scenar therapy. I can't thank her enough. She put me on a new path to healing. The problem is finding someone as knowledgable as her when you don't live in Maui. I highly highly recommend seeing her.

We loved Shayla Massage so much my daughter & I both went twice in the week were visiting Kihei. On my initial visit I tried out the massage chair in the waiting room while my daughter had her massage. The chair was amazing! It worked out a deep knot under my shoulder blade before I even went in for my massage. Shayla was then able to give me a nice all over massage without spending so much time in a single area as often happens with me when I go in for massages. One of the best decisions I made while visiting Maui was to get a massage from Shayla! Her treatment was amazing after spending a week in a body that just didn't feel like my own. She helped tremendously with my aches and pains, and even with my 5 day on-going headache. Best massage on the island. I just had a shoulder replacement and am sore everywhere. She knew just what problem areas to attack all the while protecting my shoulder and I feel like a new person. I've had the pleasure of Shayla's healing hands for several years as I was hooked the first time she worked on me. She's knowledgeable, intuitive and extremely professional and knows how to make the tense muscles melt. If I was on island all the time I would see her every couple weeks.

It's been over a month since my last massage - I used to get one every 1-2 weeks because of some significant back and neck issues. We just moved to the island and I started working right away......things couldn't be any more stressful! A coworker recommended Shayla and I am forever grateful! Shayla is absolutely amazing! She can heal spots that have been bothering you for a long time. I was experiencing painful muscle spasms in my back caused by a cycling accident years ago. I had seen every doctor and specialist you can imagine, but it was Shayla who made to breakthrough to healing. If you have trouble spots I would recommend a 2 hour massage.

Words are hard to describe what Shayla has done for me. I've dealt with injuries from a lifetime of playing soccer and within two sessions am feeling significant relief and healing. She's been able to pinpoint the problem areas to support healing. A really incredible massage therapist with a variety of tricks for your specific needs. The best massage I have ever received.

Shayla is amazing. I was visiting from Oahu and my left shoulder was acting up limiting my movement and mini vacation. I contacted her and got an appointment 2 hours later, she even stayed late to accomodate me. She worked on my shoulder to loosen it up and gave me some tips/exercises to help with alleviating the pain and improving range of motion.

I would total recommend this massage place for tourist like myself. It was very welcoming and healing. I get massages in my home town, but the island feel to this massage topped the charts. Also the natural oils like peppermint and lavender really made my skin feel great after all the ocean water damage. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. I walked out feeling better then i have in a long time. Kind of like a natural high from my muscles being soo relaxed. I will book with her when i come back on my next vacation.

I have had the pleasure of Shayla's massage while in Maui usually once or twice a year for almost 20 years. During that time I've suffered from various ailments including lower back, shoulder and hamstring issues and she has ALWAYS improved my situation. She knows her stuff and provides very personalized attention to whatever areas you need. I always get to 90 minute massage and it's more than worth every cent I spend. Her studio is comfortable and she puts you at ease right away. Can't wait to see her again soon!!
