Caf Michelangelo, the restaurant, opened twenty years ago, but the story started long before. In the small town of Colli A Volturno, Italy two red headed brothers, Angelo and Michael Di Sandro, were born. The boys flourished as most Italian boys do, growing up with a strong love for soccer, wine, and food.
When the brothers arrived in America on a ship named the Michelangelo, their ambition and drive to succeed in their new home was ignited. After successfully creating their lives here, they had a bit of nostalgia for the culture and lifestyle that they grew up with. They decided to share with their loved ones here the joys of their home in Italy.

Bocce is an Italian-originated game, which is a cross between bowling and shuffleboard. In bocce the only object is for one or more of your team's balls to be closer than any of your opponent's balls to the pallina (small target ball, often white) at the end of every set. Rather than a time period you can play a fixed number of ends and total the higher score to win or the first team to a predetermined score.

This review is long overdue and I’m glad I finally have a chance to let everyone one know what a scam this place is. I had my birthday party here in April 2019 and I haven’t been back since. I called and made a reservation for 23 people. The manager said that I need to give a $100 deposit that will be returned upon payment of my bill. He said big parties haven’t shown up in the past that’s why they do this. After the bill was totally paid, I requested my $100 deposit back and the wait staff and manager gave me a hard time. In other words, he didn’t want to give me the money back and wanted

If you are looking for Italian food they can be eaten both inside and outside this restaurant is absolutely the one to go to. It is in unknown gem in the Northeast. Every one of their sauces AKA gravy are amazing. And making special tweaks to their menu is absolutely no problem. I have brought everyone from my two-year-old grandson to my 90 year old father and probably six different sets of friends and family and all rated it five stars. The outside live band music is a great addition to an already awesome place. Enjoy

The food is good, but for me it's a bit too complex. About quarter way into an explanation of what's on the menu I lose track. Also the live music is a hit and a miss, listening to a drunk singer with no ears made for music or voice or selection wears on me very fast just about as quickly as the tipsy elderly people cheering up said artist... Other than that it's a good place, maybe for an elderly person with a bad taste in music.

Really just wish we chose a different place and wanted to like it. The staff wasn't very friendly. The alcohol drinks were good could even taste anything but ice and syrup. Small and not worth the money. The calamari was a disappointment undercooked and not crispy. The Salmon was actually real good but that's because you can't really mess up salmon! The Stromboli's were a just as much of a disappointment as the calamari. Overall, wouldn't recommend.
