Services
The physical environment is designed and equipped for learning, social interaction, and safety. Attention is given to preventative health care, balanced nutrition, proper rest, and general physical fitness. Our staff is qualified! We are committed to providing an atmosphere that is sensitive to children's needs.
We believe that each child is a unique individual. We are sensitive to a child's social, emotional, intellectual and physical needs. We provide developmentally appropriate programs that focus on the process of learning and help children experience success. We encourage not just learning, but also the lifelong love of learning.
Toddlers are provided an opportunity to gain a sense of mastery over their environment and self-skills. Caregivers encourage skills such as self-dressing, potty learning, and age appropriate interactions. Activities include themed weekly lesson plans, art/sensory experiences, walks/trips to the park, indoor/outdoor free play.

We have been a part of the WVCD family for over 4 years now! This child care center is truly part of our family! We love Kathy & Ken (owners) and the teachers are top notch. My two daughters have been in the toddler rooms all the way up to school age and Camp W.E.B. As a parent who has to travel, leaving my children is very difficult. But knowing that they are in a safe, loving, learning environment makes every day easier. Thank you WVCDC for being a part of our family village!!

I’ve been taking my child here for about 6 months now & we love it! Kathy, the owner, is also a nurse practitioner which is incredibly valuable to have on site. She knows all the children by name & is genuinely happy to see them. Mrs. Pam in the Preschool 2 room is an excellent teacher! We are so lucky to have her! She clearly loves her work & the children there. I couldn’t be happier with the care my son receives.

We have been at Williamsburg for 4 years and have 2 children who absolutely love it. Our kids are always happy to go to daycare and love their teachers and friends. They learn new things daily and are constantly surprising us with great new skills. The owners have high expectations for their staff and the center as a whole. The teachers are wonderful, they incorporate gross motor, fine motor, language and sensory learning daily. It has the best playground of any center we looked at and an awesome park close by that my preschooler loves to go to.

We had children at this center for five years. Our children's development and learning was excellent and this is proven by how they were ahead of the curve when they started kindergarten. In these five years very few issues ever occurred and if something did happen the staff communicated effectively.

We have used Williamsburg Village Child Development center for over 5 years. Our kids enjoy the center, and keep busy with the various activities. They are constantly learning something new, and sharing great stories about their days. The owners and staff are great and are always willing to help with any questions or concerns. We truely feel valued and part of a family.
