I have lived in Kent Ohio since 2006 building fine custom cabinetry and furniture for a growing clientele. In my profession, I promote an honest, clean, time-old approach to craftsmanship and design. I earned a BFA in Art & Architecture at Miami University and later studied at The Krenov School of fine woodworking, classes of 2003 and 2004.
My Architectural background has helped me develop a sense of balance, proportion, and personal style when designing furniture. In addition, the intensive training at The Krenov School fortified my competence with traditional hand tools and countless techniques in woodworking. Craft that endures is both skillfully constructed, for obvious reasons, but also maintains its aesthetic interest in the midst of passing trends.

Brek built us an amazing large entertainment center for our basement. It is very well built. My wife and I can be very indecisive when making decor decisions and he was very helpful guiding us in the right direction. After installed the finished project looks amazing. If you are looking for custom woodworks definitely keep Brek on your list.

I cannot recommend Jacobson Woodworks enough! I was in need of new wood table tops for my coffee table and end tables but wasn’t sure if I could have my vision brought to life. Brek took the time to show me different samples of wood, stains and finishes and help me figure out what I was looking for. I am so happy with the finished product. The craftsmanship and quality is amazing! The pieces are now the new focal point of our family room. I have received many compliments and will definitely continue to refer people to Jacobson Woodworks!

We made the right choice with Jacobson Woodworks for our kitchen remodel. Brek is a true artist and a professional.
