Healing Arts Center
The Healing Arts Center is dedicated to providing a quality education for individuals pursuing a professional career in the field of massage therapy. We provide a supportive atmosphere that integrates the mind, body, and spirit, and promotes learning, challenge, and growth for students. Massage Essentials is a four-hour course that allows prospective students to experience our massage education to see if this career is right for them.

This workshop is the same length as a typical class at The Healing Arts Center. Held in the main training room at HAC, prospective students will learn some basic massage theory and have the opportunity to practice what they learn on a real person. The Healing Arts Center provides transformative education for massage therapists seeking to take anxiety and pain out of the human experience while creating the joy of wellness.

I went to The Healing Art’s Center in 1998. I have to say, it changed my life forever. Tom T. Introduced me to meditation, reiki, and the world of healing. Soon after graduation I moved to Minneapolis and within months I was traveling with bands and working with professional athletes. A few years later I was hired by the NFL and worked with a several teams over the coarse of the next 15 years. I now run my company that I started in 1999 (HALO Healing Therapies co.) we cater to luxury hotels, We do all the bodywork for U of M athletics, and my team does all the massage for United Minnesota soccer

I took couses here years ago and enjoyed them. I am disappointed this program has become so far removed from science-based theories and practices and increasingly focused on spiritism. There are many massage therapists who would make excellent practitioners who do not wish to learn such practices. There are even more clients who are seeking a well trained massage therapist but not a spiritual facilitator. Not only is spiritism being taught, it appears it is being taught at the expense of theory and practice that would serve therapists well once in the field.

I took the Foot Reflexology and Zone Therapy two day course here on March 25 & March 26 with Marsha Mathers. HAC did a fantastic job picking a person to come here and teach foot reflexology. Marsha Mathers could blend into this school, her personality and way of being fits this school. She believes in the benefits of breathing in the same fashion HAC teaches the importance of breathing. Yes, I am currently a student at HAC. I learned how connected the foot and body happen to be. All participants were consistently astounded at how touching the foot positively impacted a spot on the body. I wish

The Healing Arts Center (HAC) was a life changing experience. By attending the school I found my purpose. The education was not soully the root of my inner change, but the people that I was surround by. All those who attend HAC are eager individuals that desire healing and growth. The only issue I ran into was the "God like ego" the headmaster has. Healing and growth is a humbling experience and should be treated with a gentle touch. At my graduation, instead of talking about how far we came and how much we changed the headmaster talked about himself and the school. My grandparents were very upset

The Healing Arts Center has changed my life in the most positive way. I have truly found my passion in life and discovered myself spiritually, mentally and physically. The classes reach you on a very personal level but in my opinion I think it's to help you grow as a person and be able to connect with others. The faculty and staff are very dedicated to seeing their students grow and succeed in becoming healers for the massage community. If you are looking to become a massage therapist and enjoy helping others in a therapeutic way, then The Healing Arts Center is the right place for you! I couldn
