Services
Jason Rhoads is a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with individuals and couples at his private practice in East Cobb Marietta, Georgia. With over 10 years experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor, he is currently serving a broad spectrum of clients, and has extensive knowledge of substance abuse, addiction, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, stress management, grief and loss, personality disorders, and bipolar.
I have been greatly helped through my experience having Jason as my therapist. I first worked with Jason when I was a patient at Ridgeview Institute and he was my case manager. As facilitator of my small group therapy, we established a working relationship that immediately made me feel comfortable and more open to discovering those areas that held me back in becoming a healthier, more fulfilled human being.
Phone and telemental health counseling is an effective way to stay connected and continue our counseling sessions when you travel out of the area, are ill, need to connect quickly, or weather prevents you from coming in person. Using these tools allows us to maintain both an emotional and personal therapeutic connection at a distance.

Jason is awesome and I highly recommend him! I started working with Jason during an extremely difficult time in my life – he helped me in so many ways then to get healthy mentally and emotionally, and working with him since has been an important part of my continued wellbeing. He’s an amazing therapist and an all-around great person who brings so much love, care, positivity, and supportiveness to what he does. He always takes special care to fully understand my situations, thoughts, challenges, concerns, etc. and the direction I want for my life. He has a great perspective on everything we

Jason is a wonderful therapist! He has helped me navigate life in early recovery, given me a safe space to unpack my feelings and emotions, and has taught me what co dependency looks and feels like. He is helping me redefine the relationships in my life as well. I highly recommend.

Jason Rhodes is an insightful, compassionate, and genuinely understanding therapist. He does an incredible job of creating a space that feels safe, even when past trauma makes feeling safe difficult. With his help, I have grown as a person and moved past a lot of the mental roadblocks that kept me in an endless cycle of self-recrimination and unhealthy coping mechanisms. I could not recommend him more highly.

Grounded and committed / Continual improvement Jason’s life work is seen in his passion - the pursuit of recovery. “Recovery” could mean - improving your relationships w/others (friends & family), your spouse, co-workers, even yourself. It could also mean helping you bounce back from the abuse of drugs, alcohol, and related mental health issues like depression, anxiety, etc… To do this type of tough work, you must be firmly grounded as a professional and as a person, which Jason is. He is non-judgemental - makes you feel at ease and takes an interest in creating a successful plan - something

I first met Jason during my second stint at Ridgeview Institute for alcohol addiction, which began a 2½ year journey through the difficult post-acute withdrawal and ongoing recovery process where I lost my job, my Father and had to assume care for my disabled Mother. Jason is extremely helpful because he listens first and then offers his insight based on practical and personal experience. I am always at ease discussing deeply personal topics with him and He is always courteous, non-confrontational and allows me to share about anything that is on my mind or could pose a challenge to my sobriety

I’m a colleague of Jason’s and followed him through the same graduate program. Having worked with him in the same setting, I learned his true passion for helping his clients by empathizing and listening to there challenges. Jason truly cares about the well-being of his patients and has helped so many over come their difficulties.
