PLACITA IN HOME CARE was founded by Keith Condon in August of 2017. After working in federal law enforcement for close to 9 years, Keith saw an opportunity to do home care differently. The physical needs of clients were being met, but aging was still an isolating experience. Along with his wife and registered nurse, Sarah Condon, Keith began providing home care services in Tucson.
Placita In Home Care offers comprehensive, compassionate services to keep your loved one safe, happy, and healthy in their own home. Our senior care services offer an alternative to assisted living facilities and nursing homes. We offer seniors the benefit of aging comfortably in place with in-home care from dedicated providers.
Thus, they often rely on friends and family members to assist them with everyday activities. However, what do you do if you see your loved one struggling with some of the fundamental tasks of living? Bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, grocery shopping, making meals, doing the dishes, and remembering to take medication can all become challenging with age.
For many seniors, remaining in their own homes for as long as possible is a top priority. However, the home might not always be a safe place, especially for individuals who struggle with balance, coordination, or poor vision. Placita In Home Care wants to help seniors throughout Pima County enjoy the comforts of their own homes as safely as possible.
According to the National Council on Aging, one in four seniors over age 65 will experience a fall each year. In addition, falls are a leading cause of ER visits among senior citizens. Therefore, this should be a health risk that you actively manage with your older loved ones. Fortunately, you can significantly improve safety at home and minimize the risk of injuries with some simple home improvements.

My daughter had to pick up and run with the healthcare system when I got Covid. It was so hard to understand it all. We hired Momo Carey, RN, as a Case Manager and she helped tremendously! All we had to do was call her and she took care of our concerns. She visited often to determine how I was progressing to make sure I was in the right care level. When I able to go home she arranged for in home help. The ladies were great! They were caring, helpful and good company when the chores were done. I have recommended Placita services to several friends. I highly recommend them.

Have you ever had that one employer where you couldn’t pinpoint exactly how you say thank you? How you might say Merry Christmas In a way that could be as impactful as they’ve been in your life? I came to La Placita with a rare and dire request. My grandmother wanted to pass away in her home and her time because very suddenly limited. Due to me being in Georgia, we reached out to La Placita for last minute in home hospice care and April was our initial contact. April is incredible. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Placita Senior Advisors and specifically Keith. We had limited time to find a place for my father, and he listened to what is most important to my father and his needs, and based on that he showed us a few places to choose from. We chose a place that hit all of things we were looking for, & that place has taken excellent care of my father.

I would highly recommend Placita in home care for any private care needs. I have had to coordinate private duty for several of our residents in our assisted living facility, I have worked with April at Placita in home care to get private care put in place and she has been very responsive and prompt to get care started immediately, she communicates very well with any changes or concerns for any residents care needs, she is very professional and she takes the time to train the caregivers. Keith the owner also has good communication, professionalism and is always open to discuss any concerns .

The team at Placita In Home Care is outstanding when it comes to compassion, empathy and professionalism during difficult times. We have been using Placta in home care for sometime now. And my mom has been reluctant to admit she needs help in the home. I have recently had to get my mom some extra help for appointments, and I can’t say enough how helpful in getting my mom the assistance has been.
