Roo Tech Services is a full IT solutions provider working in Knoxville, Tennessee and surrounding areas. Roo Tech Services was started in October of 2018 by Shannon Jones, Founder and Sole Proprietor. Shannon has over 20 years of experience working in IT in a variety of roles and positions and has managed IT for clients both large, with hundreds of users and endpoints, and small, with just a few users.
With our Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) agent installed on your systems we get real-time alerts with customization options to fit your business. With the real-time alerts we can often fix issues before they cause downtime for your employees. The agent also provides us with a host of tools that allow us to perform advanced maintenance on your devices without necessarily having to take over systems remotely.
Cyberthreats are growing and multi-vector protection is the only way to secure endpoints and users across all stages of a cyberattack. Cylance is our antivirus of choice for our clients. Traditional Antivirus typically uses a signature based model, which is reliant on capturing new viruses in the wild and creating a master list of malware for users to download.
We centrally manage all of your systems, Microsoft Windows, Office, Java, Adobe and Driver updates to keep your systems running with the latest All / Critical / Important / Security patches and updates available. We reboot your systems if necessary at a time that is convenient to you and offers the least amount of impact to the end users.
Our Help Desk Portal is intuitive and user-friendly, enabling us to communicate with you and manage your issues with minimal fuss. There are several different ways of creating tickets - both on the client side and on the technician side. Tickets are automatically synced between the Customer Portal and help desk system enabling instant communication.

Roo Tech has been providing me with excellent IT technical support and services for several years in the Knoxville area, for both professional and personal projects.
