Each of our staff members is an Enrolled Agent, a designation earned by passing comprehensive IRS testing and maintained by yearly continuing education. We are each members of the National and Local Associations of Enrolled Agents. When you visit our office you can rely on real help from real people - and services with real benefits.
Owner, Leon Dowty, is an Enrolled Agent with over 50 years of experience. He was a Manager for Nationwide Tax Service. He prepares taxes, represents clients before IRS, is a Resident Agent, Notary and instructor, teaching new tax preparers and tax auditors. He is a current and prior year officer in the State & Local NAEA society.
An enrolled agent is a person who has earned the privilege of representing taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service by either passing a three-part comprehensive IRS test covering individual and business tax returns, or through experience as a former IRS employee. Enrolled agent status is the highest credential the IRS awards.

REFUSED SERVICE
In urgent need of notary services, whereby they quoted $5, I thought this was a good deal. Rushing over there, I was met by some portly gentleman without a mask. Asking him to stand back, I then dealt with some woman notary, who refused to do anything without a physical ID. Explaining that I had been robbed, this held no water with them. He then asked me to “go somewhere else.” I complied immediately, and left. Too bad they refused service, because I need a tax professional, with substantial capital gains, home selling, moving expenses, electric car credits, and was willing

We had (what would have been for me) a very complicated tax return..(we retired, moved from out of state),, etc.Teresa Grant-Decal was very helpful - she was patient with all our questions, and she did a fast and excellent job on our tax return.
