I called for a taxi at 315pm and the dispatcher said it would be about 15 minutes before someone arrived. At 340 the dispatcher called back and said a car was on the way and as the taxi neared they would call. At 349, the taxi driver called and said she was around the corner and would be there to pick me up in 10 minutes. Twenty minutes later, I called the taxi driver and she said she was on the exit bridge by where I was but it was in standstill traffic. As I sat watching the bridge the traffic moved with the light. I called to have a taxi pick me up the following morning to take me to the airport. He was very polite and eager to schedule a ride for me. He called the next morning to confirm, and arrived on time. Traffic was horrible and he was genuinely concerned to get me to the airport on time as to not miss my flight. (I made it)
I told him I need to pay with a credit card. He said his machine was in another car and he would not be able to proves my payment. I was a little concerned because I didn't have any cash on me to pay him. He said I could just mail him a check when I got back to the office??? No

I was flying to LA for a cruise with my family and wanted to find the cheapest option to transport us from LAX to the cruise terminals at Long Beach, and back.
