We are based in the Washington DC Metro area, but often travel all over to film weddings. We work with a limited number of couples each year making it possible for us to give more creative time and attention to each wedding.

As a classically trained artist, Michael Eller aimed to create a unique perspective in the wedding film market. Monachetti quickly earned esteem and recognition as as one of the most sought after progressive and alternative wedding videography companies in the DMV area. The goal is and always has been to create a film that represents the story and the emotion behind the individuals in front of the lens.
We like to show a mix and variety of our work so our couples can see how each wedding film is unique. Every wedding and couple is different, and we believe strongly that your film should reflect that. Similarly, we do not have a specific formula, code, or approach until we've understood what's most important to you.

Monachetti is the most unique company that we have had the pleasure to work with and get to know. Having to reschedule our wedding three times, Monachetti stayed with us over the course of three years and three contracts due to my father undergoing two emergency open heart surgeries and the COVID-19 pandemic. Each time we had to reschedule, Monachetti was kind, understanding, and graceful. Mike and his team were beyond fantastic to work with! Not only did they capture our wedding beautifully, get our videos to us quickly (including a teaser), but they also added to the overall joy of the day. When you work with someone with a camera near you on such a huge moment in your life, you definitely want these guys! Highly, highly recommend.

Beyond all expectations!!! Monachetti captured the day and made an AMAZING day look absolutely SPECTACULAR!!! I’ve rewatched the video so many times. I booked Monachetti IMMEDIATELY after getting engaged. After following their social media and seeing the beautiful films they created, I knew we had to have one for our special day. Michael was amazing to work with through the discovery/contract phase and was so helpful with any logistical questions that came up before the big day. Nevin + Sebastian were amazing to work with the day of the wedding. They were prompt, so kind, and got along great with everyone. Monachetti Weddings was incredible to work with. Honestly the best. We got married on a Thursday evening and they created a video and turned it around to show to our guests on Saturday night at our party. Unbelievably hard working, focused on getting us something amazing that was exactly what we wanted, and delivered some AMAZING videos. Watching them puts me right back in the moment.
