We're going to continue our efforts this year to support the Women's Shelter of Long Beach. We'd like to thank all of you who dropped off supplies at New Flower in 2018. All your contributions made it to the shelter and were appreciated. In 2019 we're going to sell different items like flowers and candles to raise money for an AED machine.
If you have a specific piercer you would like to be pierced by you'll need to contact them directly. You should call in advance and discuss your piercing interests with the piercer on staff. Not every piercer offers every piercing. Nipple and genital piercings are very common, but not all are offered by all piercers.
You can find John working in Torrance most weekends. He's been in the industry since 1998 and body piercing professionally since 2003. He's a volunteer for the Association of Professional Piercers. Also, he's an instructor and the association's online curriculum administrator. Furthermore, he's the person to talk to if you need a First Aid/CPR or BBP certificate.
Below are images of the type of body piercing jewelry you'll find at New Flower in Long Beach. Our inventory is always changing so each time you visit expect to discover something new. There are several factors that we consider when selecting jewelry for your piercing. The proper fit is most important.
Keep in mind that a client's anatomy is a major factor in the viability of any piercing and jewelry options will vary quite a bit. The jewelry someone wears in the first weeks or months may not be the piece they wear long term. Your piercer will let you know what to expect. Please be aware that body piercing never has health or medical benefits, including headache relief.

Called to make an appt for a lip piercing and the person who answered basically said it wasn't "high scale" enough for them to do it. He said the people who come into their store get gold jewelry and expensive piercings, so I should think of the "caliber" of the piercing. Such a rude and wanna-be bouji place.

The shop was clean and professional. piercer themselves were somewhat friendly, and professional enough. Though it was came off as if my appointment was more of an inconvenience to them than anything even though the shop was completely empty.
Jewelry options/variety was not impressive, and very limited.
They didn't even keep pairs of jewelry on hand. So when having to pay the price for quality jewelry and not even being able to get a matching pair doesn't really make for a great experience.

Visiting from out of town and decided to get my nose pierced here. My whole experience from start to finish was fantastic. The front desk lady was super nice and informative. They have a nice jewelry selection and prices are reasonable. Squeeze pierced my nose and was super welcoming and explained the whole process from start to finish. I appreciated how he took his time sanitizing everything, making sure I was comfortable with the placement, and checked in with me throughout. I definitely recommend this place if you are looking to get a piercing! Thanks again for the awesome customer service!

I can't say enough great things about the shop. For starters this is a piercing shop only, that is what they specialize in and they are incredible. I drove a couple hours just to see John. He was listed for a very specific piercing as one of the few in the United States that knows how to do it properly. He was such a professional, well-versed, and did a thorough consultation discussing piercings, goals, aftercare and realistic ability for the different types of piercings. Overall great conversations were had, I felt very comfortable and the environment had a great energy.

Had a great experience getting a conch piercing here! I felt very safe with all of the COVID protocols and sterilization processes and the appointment system, and was in and out in less than 30 minutes. There was also a great selection of cool jewelry at a good price. My piercer Shwayzee was awesome and the actual piercing itself was surprisingly painless. Also a shout out to the young woman at the front desk who was very nice and helpful! All around a great and professional experience, I would definitely come again.

I had never gone to a piercing parlor before. It was a very interesting and they were so helpful! John did my piercing and he was super nice. I was really scared and nervous but he made the experience a wonderful one! He also really helped me in deciding which jewelry to use. I'm so happy with my new daith piercing and I'm so thankful to John and this studio for all their help and friendliness, it really made me calm down and have a great experience.

I got my piercing here in 2019 and had a great experience. I have to revise my rating. Coming back to try to get new jewelry for the piercing was an inconvenient and extorting nightmare. You have to schedule an appointment online before you come in. Ok, things are different after COVID and I understand and appreciate them being careful. However charging $15 to be able to come in and purchase jewelry is NOT. And another $15 if you want them to change out the jewelry for you?? They have quality jewelry pieces so I was already bracing for a $75-$100 with tax price tag, I am not looking for a $15 charge

I really hope people don't think it costs this much to get a good piercing. I have NEVER had to pay as much as this place charges for any piercing I've gotten, and I have 11. I don't know if they think they're doing some new innovative techniques or using rare metals for their jewelry, but $95 for a nose piercing, and $30+ just to get it new jewelry put in that I have to buy anyways is absolutely ridiculous. This place is ripping people off and it's sad because I don't think they realize they're being taken advantage of.

First time here. I came in for a snug removal. I arrived right before my appointment and they took me fairly quickly. Schwayze removed my jewelry. He was professional, knowledgeable, and informative. The process was quick and painless, considering the snug hurt from time to time. I'm very satisfied with the service I received today. Thank you!

I truly want to know how this place is still open. They are charging $95 for a basic NOSTRIL piercing.. and $140 for both earlobes?! WHAT? The owners of this place must be out of their minds. You can go to a reputable tattoo/ piercing shop and get the same exact services done just as well for a FRACTION of the price. I saw that someone spent $200 on their nostril piercing. That is absolutely unreasonable in every sense of the word. They must be charging so much because they don't get enough business. Geez! Please look into local tattoo/piercing shops. Don't go to this place. The prices

The front desk and piercer were very friendly. They explain everything they're going to be doing throughly before your actual piercing. Everything seems to be super clean and during covid you're the only customer inside. After you're done getting pierced they give you a card of aftercare instructions personalized for you and your piercing. Shwayze was the person that pierced me and they were great. My total was around $90+ after tip.

I came in a few days ago to get a navel piercing and I've got to say, I was so nervous and filled with anxiety because I've never gotten anything pierced now as an adult but I was so pleased with the customer service!!Vanessa was so informative and understanding and made me feel safe, shes awesome!!! Also, another piercer named Shwayze helped me out at the front desk and talked to me while I waited for Vanessa to be done prepping the room to pierce me in. They were so helpful, patient, kind, and comforting! Not only that, I love my new piercing! It's so cute. Thank you so much !

I love this place. The piercers AND the owner are all extremely knowledgeable and helpful and will not perform piercings that could be detrimental or else that aren't in the best interest of the client. I can always trust they will steer me in the right direction and educate me about piercing in general as well as about whatever piercing I am receiving.
And their jewelry selection is INSANE GOOD with tons of beautiful gold and other items and they are good at curating and designing ears projects or whatever else you have in mind.
Definitely HIGHLY recommend.
